Bicycles
Although I don’t ride a bike, well not at least for 40 odd years, there is something satisfying about a bike. It’s solid, reliable (mainly), an art form, it has a place in our society, an environmental champion, a pleasure and a serious competitor.
There aren’t many things in life that fulfil those criteria, there will always be those detractors but for me the bike is a hero.

I was walking around taking photos by the water and this gentleman asked me to take a photo of him on his phone. After I did that, I asked him if I could take a photo of him on my Nikon. Sorry, not much of a story but I liked the results!

This bike was placed in the sunflower field at the Chilliwack Sunflower festival. There are nearly 20 acres of beautiful blooming sunflowers in 35 different varieties, as well as several varieties of Dahlias.
