Another shot of the black Cuillins taken from Sligachan. One of the most gorgeous settings to photograph with multiple waterfalls leading to the majestic Cuillins. Of course, I might be a bit biased being from Scotland.

For Macro Mondays for 1/23 for tape. This is a fabric case for some reading glasses and to reinforce the edges, it is sewn with bias binding tape. Btb, this was not the picture I thought I’d take but it’s sort of dramatic— yes?… The size verification shot should be next in the photostream— this portion is about an inch and 5/8ths.

The Russian team of four Sukhoi SU-27 fighters displays their skill during BIAS 2012. That they perform their skill with this precision at ultra-high speeds is really stunning and mind-boggling.

Stacked and initial processing with Images Plus, combined with PhotoMatix and Photoshop CS6, finished off with Picassa.

Canon EOS 1200D with IR cut filter removed and Astronomik Light Pollution CLS CCD filter added.

OK so I'm a bit biased, Exmoor taken from the A39 looking down into a valley with gorgeous afternoon sunlight after a spring time snow storm or was it a blizzard, anyway thawing well now, but you can see it had drifted quite deeply.

I'm rather fond of Exmoor, it was my weekend escape for many years when I worked in Barnstaple North Devon. I do still love Exmoor.
