The Fighting Dragons nebula (NGC 6188) is located around nearly 4,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation Ara.
This image was captured over five hours across two nights in outback NSW, Australia. I've edited this one seven times and am still not sure I'm happy with the final colour pallet so don't be surprised if you see another version here sometime soon.

I had cloudy and foggy weather all day, so I didn’t get the photos of this mountain lake that I had hoped for, but at least I didn’t get a sunburn either. Lai da Palpuogna was voted the most beautiful spot in Switzerland in 2007, although I thought it’s rather photogenic but not really beautiful. Maybe I‘m just biased though as I don’t like the fact that there’s a road and a parking lot close by, and it’s pretty clear that it’s often crowded here. However this morning I had the lake with all its fascinating shades of green to myself 😊👍

The Russian team of four Sukhoi SU-27 fighters displays their skill during BIAS 2012. That they perform their skill with this precision at ultra-high speeds is really stunning and mind-boggling.

Lower Antelope Canyon on my way back out. If you find these images interesting and have never been down into the slot canyons of Arizona or Utah, I highly recommend you plan a trip. They are truly something to be seen.

Wonderful when viewed Large, and even more when viewed in its Original size.
Riley is as serious as she can be while striking these poses, and I am trying to capture as many sides of her as she will permit. I am not directing her at all. She has learned already that when she makes a another face or a serious pose, that I will snap another picture.

The Mask Dance was developed and expanded among the people of Cirebon and around the area before the Islamic religion entered. Sunan Kalijaga took advantage of the dance as a missionary endeavor to spread the Islamic religion. Therefore, many of the Cirebon mask are imbued by Islamic philosophies.
The Cirebon Mask Dance has five dance principles, namely Panji, Samba, Rumyang, Tumenggung and Rahwana (Klana). Those five dances stand alone and are not biased if united with each other. All five have different characteristic and accompanied with different instruments.

dense fog this morning, the bluehour heralded no dawn just offered a blue blanket. I was alone entirely 5am on St Mary's beach save for the birds, not even the Lighthouse herself was visible. only 20 metres of causeway showing and the feeling was one of exceptional simplicity, serenity, and peace.
Have printed this both ways as I like the square that shows in the thumbnail too.
