Michael was fascinated that the mortar was so even and smooth.

It was only possible to transport 3 figures at a time,they were so heavy. Apparently it had taken a week to instal the sculpture and they reckoned it would take at least that long to dismantle. It had also been necessary to employ the services of an archeologist - a requirement if any soil is disturbed around this stately home.
