Completing an Ironman isn’t just a race — it’s a lifestyle. And for the cast of Beyond Limits, it meant reshaping their daily routines, confronting their weaknesses, and showing up when no one was watching.
Here’s a look at the incredible commitment each athlete put into training for the toughest test of all — 2.4 miles of swimming, 112 miles of cycling, and a 26.2-mile run.
⸻
️♂️ Raymond Mouzon – The Body Transformation Specialist
Balancing the role of director and athlete, Ray built his training around strength, discipline, and high-intensity endurance. His sessions were fuelled by ADHD-driven energy, transformed into pure focus.
Hannah Marshall – The Behavioural Expert
Hannah took a methodical approach to training — analysing patterns, understanding her body, and mastering the mindset needed to keep moving forward on tough days.
️ Stuart Downie – The Royal Marine Commando
No stranger to pain or pressure, Stuart attacked training like a mission. Long runs, open-water swims, and brutal bike sessions were just another day for this military machine.
🍎 Cindy Fincham – Early Years Advisory Teacher
Cindy juggled training around her busy family and work life — squeezing in early morning rides and late-night runs. Her consistency and commitment were nothing short of inspiring.
💼 Faye Barnes – Finance Risk Management
Faye brought her sharp planning skills to the table — breaking training into manageable blocks and tracking every step with purpose and precision.
🚓 Sam Cullum – The Met Firearms Policeman
Used to operating under extreme pressure, Sam’s training mirrored his work — focused, structured, and resilient. Every mile built the mental stamina he thrives on.
👩💼 Chelsi Owen – Head of Human Resources
With a demanding career, Chelsi showed up day after day — managing stress through movement and turning training into a form of self-leadership and therapy.
📣 Joyce Jeffrey – Communications Director
Joyce kept her training honest and grounded. Her approach wasn’t flashy — just real, raw effort and a deep belief in finishing what she started.
🍀 Mike Dunne – The Irish Barman
Mike’s training was full of character — battling through physical and emotional walls with a mix of grit, humour, and heart. Every session told a story.
📊 Lee Curtis – The Sales Chief
Lee approached training like a business deal — goal-driven, data-tracked, and relentless. If it was on the plan, it got done — no excuses.
⸻
Together, they trained through fatigue, injury, doubt, and everyday life. There were setbacks. There were breakthroughs. But most of all, there was progress.
This isn’t just a film about sport. It’s about real people doing something remarkable — and the work it takes to make the impossible possible.

'Large Mirror Nijiski' ~ Barry Flanagan. Photo taken at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire.
As you will see from the photographs of this particular sculpture it wasn't an easy 'one' to capture ... I'm not sure I did it justice.

Barry Flanagan's 'Large Nijinski on Anvil Point' ... this just wouldn't have worked if it had been half the size.

.Erwin Wurm - 'Der Gurk' Conceived and cast in bronze in 2016.
Wyrn's sculptures are a contemporary amalgam of absurdist humour and parady western consumerist culture. The present work takes as its subject die gurke (a cucumber) which in this case has been enlarged to more than four metres high and immortalised in bronze in a nod to the endemic modern obsession with continually demanding 'bigger and better'.

Contemporary Terracotta Warriors by Yue Minju, one of the rising stars of the Chinese contemporary art scene. The 25 bronze figures look perfect in the setting of the Chatsworth cascade, like a small scouting party separated from their 8000 terracotta brothers in arms back in China.
