The grounds at Chatsworth are a beautiful, idyllic place to explore, especially when touched by autumnal colour.
This is a Sotheby's Selling Exhibition of modern and contemporary sculpture displayed in the grounds of Chatsworth House from the 9th September til 2nd November 2008.

This marble wing was created by British born Christopher le Brun using Nestos marble from the Lapicida Stone Foundry in Harrogate.
The piece plays homage to the poet Virgil, and represents Icarus' flight when he goes too close to the sun and plummets to his death.
