Hey everyone.

Coolum Beach, Qld, Australia.

Well 2 years ago I captured a truly spectacular sunset at Coolum Beach on Australia's East Coast.

The sky exploded on fire with incredible colours all over the sky so I found my composition and shot away drastically trying to capture as many shots with that incredible sky.

I just edited this image which I previously never got around to doing.

Hope you like it!

This image was captured in a field on the road down to Guileen which is located on the east coast of Ireland in County Cork and was captured using a Canon 6D with a Canon 16-35mm ƒ/4 lens that was fitted with a Lee 0.6 and a Lee 0.9 Graduated ND filters.

The dynamic range was so great that a single RAW exposure now enough. I had to take two unique exposures and then blend them together in Photoshop using a very basic layer mask.

Got into trouble for recording rather than sharing the moment.

I started school this week. The week progressively gotten better. And harder. Let's just say it's going to be a long year. I've sort of just been trying to get the hang of things again and trying to figure out how I'm going to make time for everything. And I've been such a horrible contact. But I will make this work and balance everything out! So I will be commenting on all your lovely streams soon. :)

On the plus side, we're doing an art interpretation project in Spanish! I will be doing a photography interpretation of a painting from Picasso's blue period. I am beyond excited. Hopefully I'll have that soon.

Even though summer is over for me, I will be continuing my 50 days of summer project. I just won't have uploads every day. It would be good if I was done before the end of August!

Does anybody watch Friday Night Lights? I am freaking obsessed with that show. I watched all of season two in one day. Man, it is so good. So. Good.

Best viewed large. Reallllly large!

No PS shenanigans here, with the exception of my pasting a few photos together to make a panorama.

The other day I had a feeling there would be a good sunset, so my guy and I went driving in a random western direction until we came across an empty lot. He smartly stayed in the air-conditioned car as I ambled about and chatted with a homeless lady.

I decided to wait there until sunset, which was two hours away. There was much nature-related gorgeousness to be seen.

The first hour was great, the second hour had me actually jumping up and down, all on my lonesome yelling,

"Gorgeous! GORGEOUS!"

There’s more from this evening, but I’m a bit tired and Psych is coming on :)

These are the most western mountains in Tucson – Sadly, I can’t recall their name now... If you know, lemme know?

Reno has the best sunsets ever. Im not making this up.

Sunset near the border (Slovack Rep. Ukaine) - Ukraine, Uzgorod City

a.k.a the Eye of Sauron.

This one is SOOC and was easily one of the best sunsets of my life. Sitting on the other end of the rock you see here, I had nothing but nothingness below me and the beautiful setting sun, reminiscent of the LOTR's Eye of Sauron.

Still think this has to be one of the most spectacular sunsets I have witnessed in Sussex.

You can spot the Rottingdean Windmill in the distance

The best sunset I ever seen was in the Simpson Desert, Northern Territory, Australia

This really is better viewed large, like the panorama in this set. That bright spot on the left was *glowing* up above and behind layers of purple clouds, which was just unbelievable since the sun had already slipped behind the mountains!

The panorama Go view the Original Size! is better though, and gives you a better idea of how amazing the sky was this day. You'll probably need to click the photo to show it full size.

After work, I decided to get my butt in gear and skin up the Tiehack side of Buttermilk Ski Area. What started as a way to get in shape for hiking season turned out to be a wonderful photo opp...
