Festival of lights / Berlin leuchtet - Konzerthaus am Gendarmenmarkt

I spent the last week in Berlin.
6 evenings from 7pm to midnight at the festival of lights - 1400 photos - 3 videos.
The illuminations are art, but my photos are only a documentationof this great event. Nevertheless i guess it's a nice idea to show some examples for tose who weren't there...

Die Berlin-Uhr, auch Mengenlehreuhr genannt, ist eine öffentliche Uhr in Berlin. Sie wurde 1975 von dem Erfinder Dieter Binninger im Auftrag des Berliner Senats entwickelt und zeigt die Uhrzeit über eine Zahl von leuchtenden Lampen an.
Das Foto wurde, laut Kamera, um 11:26 aufgenommen, die Uhr zeigt aber 11:21 Uhr.

Der Spreebogen in Berlin fasziniert mich immer wieder. Paul-Löbe-Haus und Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus verbunden durch das "Band des Bundes" zur Blauen Stunde. Mittig im Berliner Regierungsviertel.
Vielen Dank an alle die meine Bilder ansehen und kommentieren.
The Spree bow in Berlin fascinates me time and again. Paul-Löbe-Haus and Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus connected by the "Band of the Covenant" to the Blue Hour. In the centre of the Berlin government district.

Der Modellpark Berlin-Brandenburg ist ein Miniaturpark in Berlin. Auf einer Fläche von drei Hektar befinden sich mehr als 80 detailgetreue Nachbildungen von Bauwerken aus der Region Berlin-Brandenburg im Maßstab 1:25. Er befindet sich auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Ernst-Thälmann-Stadions im Volkspark Wuhlheide.

The Modellpark Berlin-Brandenburg is a miniature park in Berlin. There are more than 80 detailed replicas of buildings from the Berlin-Brandenburg region on a scale of 1:25 on an area of three hectares. It is located on the site of the former Ernst Thälmann Stadium in Volkspark Wuhlheide.

Berlin, underground station „Rathaus Schöneberg“ of the U4. This is a very old and very short line, consisting of 5 stations only, crossing the Volkspark Schöneberg along a lake! The beautiful old station at the lake is quite a sight.
Heizkraftwerk Wilmersdorf
There had been a power station at this site since 1911. The still existing power plant was commissioned in 1977 and in recent years has only been used for peak loads from time to time. In April 2021, the power plant was finally shut down and will be demolished by the end of 2022.
Man könnte fast meinen die U-Bahnhöfe in Berlin könnten es mit denen in Hamburg oder München aufnhemen. Aber weit gefehlt, sagen wir mal so, es gibt hin und wieder schöne Ecken, in die anderen möchte man gar nicht schauen.
You could almost think the subway stations in Berlin could be up against those in Hamburg or Munich. But far from it, let's say so, there are sometimes beautiful corners, you don't want to look at the others.
