Little Maya going to sleep soon with her panda. All her sisters are already fast asleep in their closet but this girlie wants to stay up and watch Animal Planet-channel in our bed :)

These two cuddly toys and many more joined my grandchildren at bedtime when they stayed with us at Christmas. Derek the dog is a particular favourite as he is the cousin of their cuddly dog, George!

This is little Bedtime Millie that I recently finished. Her cap, dressing gown and slippers are all removeable and she is a sweet little bear - only around 4 inches seated.
Gayle in bed reading some gossip mag. DG chic in bed.
Looking though I thought it looked like the girls arm had turned into a hand grabbing the page.
These marine iguanas pile onto each other to retain warmth. They give little notice to the sally lightfoot crabs scurrying over them. These were on Fernandina, the youngest island in the Galapagos.
Active Assignment Weekly: May 3 - May 10: Read a Book
I have been wanting to take a picture like this for a while now and this assignment gave me the excuse.
WIT: I took some pictures while my wife was reading one of my son's favorite books to him before bedtime. Used my strobe, bounced off the ceiling for lighting. I had to shoot quick because he is a little squirmy.
Kayley did an amazing job 'reading' to Erika. She knows this story well and knows the 'Dr. Seuss way' of rhyming verses etc...and putting it all together, I just HAD to take video!
Tips, tricks, techniques and light.
I still think an attractive model helps.
