The oystercatcher is a large, stocky, black and white wading bird. It has a long, orange-red bill and reddish-pink legs. In flight it shows a wide, white wing-stripe, a black tail and a white rump that extends as a 'V' between the wings.
Because it eats cockles, the population is vulnerable if cockle beds are overexploited.
They breed on almost all UK coasts. During the last 50 years, more birds have started breeding inland. Most UK birds spend the winter on the coast where they are joined on the east coast by birds from Norway.
In the UK, Isle of Man, and Ireland, the Oystercatcher is resident in most coastal areas. It has an "Amber" status because it is considered Vulnerable in Europe and Near Threatened globally.
In the bed holding her,talking and then talking again...a bed could be good place for this.

Simkha has stopped sleeping in the dog's place at night and has moved to my bed. At first he sits on my chest, demanding affection, and then moves to the free part of the bed.

The prehistoric submerged forest at Borth Beach in Ceredigion, Wales, UK. The peat beds, containing the remains of ancient trees that were buried over 4,500 years ago, are typically hidden by sand and the sea but oftentimes become visible at low tide.
The scene includes extensive rock pools in the foreground at low tide, the peat beds with visible ancient tree stumps, and a large, wooden sea wall (also known as a groyne system) in the background.
The wooden structures in the background are part of coastal defence measures for the village. The site is a point of scientific and historical interest, a local landmark, and a popular spot for photography when exposed by the tide.
I bought this cat bed before we even got him. But he didn't use it until I sprayed catnip inside. Now he loves this bed!

Bella settling in her furry bed ready for a busy morning of sleeping until I return home to serve lunch! She loves to have her chin on the side of the bed so she can watch for a while, usually looking very sad to make me feel guilty for going out.
