Passionné de vidéo depuis toujours et de street art depuis la fin des années 1990, Mr Brainwash film tout ce qu'il fait avec une ou plusieurs caméras. Par le biais de son cousin Invader il commence à suivre les plus grands noms de ce milieu (Banksy, Shepard Fairey, André…), caméra à la main pendant sept ans avant de sortir en 2006, avec l'aide du réalisateur suisse Joachim Levy4,1, le documentaire Life Remote Control5. Ce documentaire n'a été diffusé en 2006 qu'au marché du film de Cannes devant un public professionnel6, avant d'être partiellement intégré comme bonus dans la version américaine du DVD de Faites le mur !.
Expositions et travaux notables[modifier | modifier le code]
Il vend ses premières œuvres à Michael Jackson7. En 2008, Mr Brainwash organise une exposition intitulée « Life is Beautiful » à Los Angeles8 dans les anciens locaux de CBS. Bien qu'il n'ait jamais exposé jusque là, grâce au buzz provoqué par le soutien qu'il sut obtenir de ses amis street-artistes comme Shepard Fairey ou Banksy, l'exposition fut un grand succès: prévue pour durer seulement cinq jours, elle resta ouverte pendant deux mois, et attira plus de 7000 visiteurs.
