Sounded a lot dirtier than I expected! First driven Beat I've ever encountered. Nice!

Quite a pleasant view, it certainly is nicer than great featureless slabs of bare brick........dotted with steel or fire escape doors

( necessary though they are ) you could say this one is rather well suited, for those who rail against graffiti.

I don't find it in the least Offensive ;-))))))))

Marsh Owl is a critically endangered species is Morocco. This piece tries to address one of the main problems causing its decline, and your help is much appreciated.

Marsh Owl (Asio capensis) is a typical owl restricted to Africa and its biggest island. Three subspecies are recognised: 1) the nominate subspecies which has the largest range – from East to Southern Africa, plus isolated populations in West Africa; 2) A. c. hova in Madagascar, and 3) A. c. tingitanus in northwest Morocco.

Globally, the species is not threatened and is currently categorised as ‘Least Concern’ in the IUCN Red List. However, this is not the case for the isolated and declining Moroccan population. There is no Red List for Moroccan avifauna, but the species should easily qualify as ‘Critically Endangered’ for a number of criteria.

Like the northern lights I completely missed out on the rare appearance of snow down here this week. North Dorset, Wiltshire and even Weston got a dumping but nothing whatsoever on the South Coast.

Still what can beat seeing snow covered mountains? Taken handheld with my 200mm lens which has been repaired (after I slipped on ice and dropped it). I was £500 lighter but I'm getting it back through my home insurance and it's like a new lens. Result!

I bet North Wales is even more beautiful this week but its maybe unlikely I'd be able to get around.

Have a lovely weekend x

see, you think you got problems with me, but baby i don't even think about you / you're mad at everything i do, but what are you up to? i haven't a clue

Jubilee 45699 Galetea gets into its stride departing York on the Scarborough Spa Express. That three cylinder beat sounds good especially when working hard.

“School's out so it's the weekend everyday

From sun-up to sun-down in the hood we play

Our block party's jammin off the chain

We're lined up dancin' like we're on soul train

The live band sounds so good to me

With Derrick thumpin the bass

And Todd ticklin keys

Laron and Pat both droppin the beat

While Meshun and his boys supply the harmony

I wish this day didn't have to end

But tomorrow will come and we'll do it again . . . “

Mersey Beat was a music publication in Liverpool, England in the early 1960s. It was founded by Bill Harry, who was one of John Lennon's classmates at Liverpool Art College. The paper carried news about all the local Liverpool bands, and stars who came to town to perform.

The Beatles had a close association with Mersey Beat, which carried many exclusive stories and photos of them. It also published several of Lennon's early writings, including a history of the band, and occasional comical classified advertisements by him as space filler.

Livin' in the fast lane

Tryna catch up with my own game

But the world is movin' fast

I know that at the end of day

When the ceiling keeps the night away

I made it home at last, oh, oh

Give me stress

Give me pressure

Make me crash

And I'll come back faster

Beat me till I'm in first

Beat me and make me work

I'll show you what I am worth

So beat me and make me first, ay

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

So beat me 'til I am first

Ready, set, go!

Shake me, wake me, make me

Pull up even faster, tracin' after

Everythin' that breaks me, aches me

Watch me pass it all

Love it when you shake me, quake me, make me

Pull up even faster, tracin' after

Everythin' that breaks me, aches me

I'ma race it all, hey

Beat me 'til I am first

Beat me and make me work

I'll show you what I am worth

So beat me and make me first, ay

Oh, oh, oh, oh, 'til I am first

Oh, oh, oh, oh, 'til I am first

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh

Beat me and make me first, ay

I know that 'til the end of time

I will never meet the finish line

But I'll come home at last

Getting in close on the drums.

Ten minutes before sundown and I knew that if I stopped my hasty retreat off the hills to take a shot of this storm pelting down over Cheshire, then I'd be drenched by the rest of it that was approaching me from behind...so I stopped, as you do, got drenched, as you do, then sat in the rain pummelled car with a huge, wet Cheshire Cat grin on my face, as you do! :-)

With the weather like it is... the best way to beat the heat I've found is with a steady supply of popsicles and some good music. So what if my headphones have devil horns? That's not me invoking hell on earth! Nope!
