I found this from 2007.
I had no idea about cameras - i just seen something and clicked the shutter button.
All my holiday pics were spoilt as the camera setting showed the date on the pics.
I hate to see that on pics.
We live and learn.
This was taken from the Cliff Bay Hotel looking out to see.

Mid afternoon. All of a sudden these light rays appeared out to sea.I like the horizon as it seems to be curved rather than flat.
An experimental shot that didn't work too well but at the same time didn't turn out too badly. Food for thought for my next Milky Way trip. About as close to a selfie as I'm comfortable with!
I need a bumper sticker that says.."This Car screeches & careens to a halt at all Sunrays"
Seriously this day..driving along the Gorge...must have pulled off a dozen times...it was a spectacular sight! Hope you enjoy..It's hard to process something like this..so did the best I could. Just one exposure.
Now this little guy was sure beaming because I chased him all over the yard trying to get a shot. He would let me get almost set up and then he would flutter away! I am sure I heard him cackle as he took flight! So this is the bet shot I could get out of my many attempts.View On Black
I was getting ready to photograph the sunrise at the inlet this morning and took a bunch of pictures of the lighthouse beams while it was still relatively dark. At home I combined a few of them to make this image. I have some other ideas how to photograph for this effect but would appreciate it if anyone would like to share their technique. Would multiple exposures work? Have a great day! (Sony a1ii, 16-35mm @ 16mm, various shutter speeds between .5 and 2 seconds.)
The city of Jaén is at the heart of the vast olive fields in Andalusia, Spain. The proud shape of Castle of Santa Catalina and the adjacent Parador Nacional de Turismo (a luxury hotel that occupies the ancient stable of the castle) dominate the city and offer a scenic view of the city against the backdrop of the massive mountains of Sierra Morena. It was a rainy day, but while my wife and I were having breakfast, the clouds opened up for a few minutes allowing the sun beams to break through with a dramatic effect. I rushed for my camera and managed to capture the scene.
