The beads of the bracelet are all clear. It is the refraction of light within the bead that causes the color. The light source is from my cell phone’s LED light.
Shot for Looking close… on Friday!, Beads
When I was looking for beads for Macro Monday theme beads, I came across this baby bracelet. I can't really remember how I got it. I think it was a baby shower gift when my daughter was born. They won't be real red corals. I read that they are imitated by dyeing bamboo corals red.
Two of my glass beads that I still have. I liked to make my own fashion jewelry long time ago.

Love is our true essence. Love has no limitations of caste, religion, race, or nationality. We are all beads strung together on the same thread of love. To awaken this unity-and to spread to others the love that is our inherent nature-is the true goal of human life.

Otavalo, has a population largely made up of the Otavalo indigenous group. They are famous for weaving textiles, usually made of wool, which are sold at the famous market. During the market's peak, almost one third of the town becomes full of stalls selling textiles, tagua nut jewelry, musical instruments, dream catchers, leather goods, fake shrunken heads, indigenous costumes, hand-painted platters and trays, purses, clothing, spices, raw foods and spools of wool.
