Single use BBQ skewers. If there is a sustainable option of things like this I try and buy them. They tend to be better quality and look good too! I based my design thesis (back in the mid ‘90s) on the benefits of ecological sound design, feel it’s been talked about all that time and only now we are doing something.
Finally, from October this year the UK will ban single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls, cutlery, balloon sticks, and certain types of polystyrene cups and food containers, can’t come soon enough.

Went wandering around Chinatown(again) this evening with the Fujifilm X100V that I rented from Camera Rental Centre(Singapore). It's a fun camera to shoot with! This is one of my favourite Sichuan spots for dinner, I love their bbq skewers.
A gas BBQ and some round glass cafe tables stacked against the wall outside a cafe at the UniSA North Terrace campus. The upturned legs of the table makes them look like alien stick figures of some kind.
Apologies to all my Flickr friends. I have been swamped at work lately, and it is all I can do to make myself post anything lately, much less even check my activity feed. I will resume looking at your work when things quieten again, which should be soon.
My last day of holidays and it's back to work tomorrow. we had a wonderful filet mignon, baked potato and squash all done on the new smoker bbq
...i have posted a few gratuitous BBQ veg shots this year. Good to have had such great weather ...and plenty of time.

can't wait to dig in! I'm just glad I'm in here where hot water is available! Interesting point...I found out that most Korean restaurant like serving cold water even when the weather is freezing outside!
If you get a chance to travel through Texas, try to head over to Lockhart, a town small in size but filled with a bunch of legendary BBQ places such as Black's, featured here.

These little ramadas people bbq and hang out at at Saguaro West. Nice view.
Those are two Ocotillo plants and Mountains.
Plus several textures.
I can't decide whether I like the framing or not. I think I do.
