Anglia Car Auctions, King's Lynn -
"Chassis number: AM1072180. 4,136cc. From a deceased estate. This Maserati had been in the last ownership for thirty-three years. It was manufactured in 1968 and UK registered in 1973 and has two owners since. The vendor believes that the car was taken off the road in 1990 when the engine and gearbox were removed due to an engine problem. It has remained in dry storage since. The engine and gearbox are dismantled on a pallet and it looks as though the heads have been refurbed. The vendor cannot guarantee that everything is there as various components had to be collected from around the storage building and although it appears that the main components are present, there may be some parts missing. It comes with older style V5s but remains live on DVLA database, Sotheby's 1989 bill of sale, MoTs for 1988 and 1966. email dated 1991 from Maserati confirming identity and specialist receipts from 1989."
Sold for £11,124 including premium (offered with no reserve).
