Long-tailed Parakeet, Bayan, Nuri, Psittacula longicauda
This is the most widespread species of parrots in Peninsular Malaysia. Usually can be found in lowland rainforest and oil palm plantations where it is consider pest because it feed on the fruits. Give a loud high pitched screetch that attract attention during flight, with a blunt head silhouette and a long pointed tail.
A few hours before a short snowstorm one 2TE116UM and a half 2TE116UD pulls and push a Sibirian wood train
across the Mongolian steppe to China.

Bayan Buural- After having our evening meal of some rather local food at the resort we headed out for a walk in the lovely countryside as the weather was pleasant. Taking the camera with me it would have been silly not to follow a path along the railway line and I'm glad I did. We heard 2ZAGAL-005B approaching for a good few minutes before it rounded the bend with a tank train heading north in some gentle rays of the fading sun.

Bunyi yang bising di suatu pagi membolehkan saya mengesan burung ini bertenggek di dahan pokok di kawasan pinggir hutan. Ia membiarkan saya melepaskan beberapa tembakan sebelum terbang pergi, juga dengan bunyi yang bising. Saya bernasib baik kerana shot ini sahaja yang menjadi, malah subjek utama hampir terkeluar frame.

Female golden eagles weigh between 3 and 7 kg (6.6 – 15.4 lbs) and have wingspans of 1.8 – 2.3 m (5’9″ – 7’5″); their Kazakh handlers are not particularly tall! There is a forked wood perch attached to the saddle to help support the bird while they are riding.
