Taken near Mr Pashakan's home, not far from Bayan Üglii , Western Mongolia.

One soon noticed that there is hardly any trees out here. The mountains are mainly bare with interesting colours when the sun shines on them.

Home is the Kazakh Ger ( Mongolia ) Yurt ( Turkish ). Mr Pashakan is Kazakh. About 10% of Mongolia’s population is made up of ethnic Kazakhs, some of the world’s last true nomads.

The Kazakh nomads have been moving around the Eurasian Steppe with their horses and their yaks since before Chingiss Khan.

Kazakh life is centred around the gers. Migrating from place to place, the ger moves along as well, packed up tightly on camels or in Soviet era jeeps.

It takes roughly about 40 minutes or so to set up the Ger.

I will pose more pictures of Ger later, including the inside.

Playground panorama in a tunnel view (or ant view) projection. This particular panorama was done with a monopod instead of a tripod.

Saw these two fishing as we rested along the road to the airport.

Bayan Nuri

Long-tailed Parakeet, Bayan, Nuri, Psittacula longicauda

This is the most widespread species of parrots in Peninsular Malaysia. Usually can be found in lowland rainforest and oil palm plantations where it is consider pest because it feed on the fruits. Give a loud high pitched screetch that attract attention during flight, with a blunt head silhouette and a long pointed tail.

One side of Bayan Waterfall with a small villa. It's the time for relaxing in my hometown.

Female golden eagles weigh between 3 and 7 kg (6.6 – 15.4 lbs) and have wingspans of 1.8 – 2.3 m (5’9″ – 7’5″); their Kazakh handlers are not particularly tall! There is a forked wood perch attached to the saddle to help support the bird while they are riding.

Built in 1633, the temple is used by Hindus for offering ceremony to Dewi Danu, Balinese water, lake and river goddess. The image of the temple is also featured in Indonesia's 50,000 rupiah currency note.

Bedugul has in its vicinity three of the four lakes in Bali (Beratan, Bayan and Tamblingan). Located at a plateau at the centre of the island, Bedugul because of its cool setting is a favourite for weekend family outings. It is accessible in two hours (90 km) by highway from Denpasar, the capital.
