Hey hey hey.
There's no story yet, I'll get to that on a later day.
Pretty straight forward build; I got to try a new wall out, I like it. Those plants were fun, I love the colors. However, the ground looks worse and worse the more I look at it. Yikes.
Thanks for looking and be sure to check out the public Mission 20 event on the Rebellug Discord server!
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
I went closer to a droid, that were standing in the field of snowy Hoth. I've assumed, its battery dried out a long time. While I was moving around the droid, I putted my cameras down and all of sudden this thing moved!
One of the cameras I own, is the one which I often abandon on a remote area for a few weeks to check, whether there is any life on the area I'm thinking to move next. I think they call these a trail/game camera? Anyway, it has this automatic function to take a photo, if anything comes up in the viewfinder on the area it's pointed. This same camera here were pointing upwards near the droid and it automatically took this shot! Kinda lucky, I was.
What happened next? Well, that's another story. :)
Guess who didn't wait for December 16th to get their silver Threepio!
It's always bugged me that we've never got a silver Threepio from Clones and it still bugs me that we still haven't got a naked Threepio from Phantom Menace! It's an odd reason why I got this year's Star Wars Advent Calendar, I know. I got all the Rogue One LEGO too but no ideas are coming to mind with those.
Much to Takamichi Irie's annoyance, I half-assed this photo with the amount of detail, so I'll make a much better B-shot of the Battle Droid using Threepio's body.

Only a few weeks into the Clone Wars the 253rd Elite Legion was sent to Rhen Var to help the 501st and 212th in evacuating the planet before the CIS arrived.
After escorting the non-military personnel onto a few LAAT’s and loading them up with suplies, one of the last ships disappeared into the blue sky and went for one of the Venators waiting above the clouds to pick it up. But before it even reached the clouds it was shot down by a big red bolt of plasma.
Looking at the crashing gunship from below, I saw it coming back towards the landing pad. Fast. Some evacuees and clones dove out of the way, but for some it was already to late.
Our comms were down. A lot of people on the landing pad needed help, but we didn’t have much time because a seperatist gunship was already on it’s way.
Not long after, I heared a trooper shouting out loud: “Super Battledroids incoming!”
Muun: “Alright men, defend this platform! We can not hand it over to the Seps.”
Hopefully this ends well…

Hi guys, this is my latest contribution to the 253rd Elite Legion RPG. Really glad that I was able to make a decent looking gunship design :'D Enjoy the build!
...:: BEGIN LOG ::...
After we barely managed to get out of the tomb on Rhen Var and our eyeside adjusted itself to the intense white snowscape, we saw a gunship waiting to pick us up to bring us back to The Absolver.
There was no time for a break though. When we got back onto The Absolver, we were getting shipped out immediately. To Dantooine. Republic High Command managed to track the Acolyte and pinpointed 3 planets where he could be hiding. Dantooine, Muunilinst and Tion. The other 2 planets where being covered by the 212th and 501st respectively.
Upon arrival on Dantooine, we set up a basecamp and some scouting parties. At first we didn’t really see or find anything suspicious. But then it went of the charts! First a droid ambush in a farm village, after that we were sent off to the capital city, Garang, because the Acolyte had shown himself there with an army of battledroids.
Whilest fighting the clanker army, Muck came to me asking if we could check out some coordinates where there was some strange activity going on. The Acolyte hadn’t been seen in a while either. This battle might have been a diversion to keep us away from whatever he is really up to. Muck then transfers the coordinates and we were good to go!
When we arrived at the given location, we indeed saw the Acolyte with yet another legion of battledroids. And something else. A large ritualistic device. It had something to do with the artifact that was stolen on Rhen Var. The Acolyte placed it in the device, after that followed a loud hum and the device started to glow dark red.
Next I heared chatter on my comms, Jester insisted that we stop the device. The General thinks we better evacuate the civilians of Garang.
Not knowing if we should stop that thing or evacuate the civilians out of the city, we chose to save the people.

Hi! Here is my newest build for the 253rd Elite Legion! I'm very glad to share it with you guys. I actually wanted to include some civilians in this build aswell, but I kinda forgot to do so and I didn't have time to take more pictures :/ But I'm still very proud of this build non the less!
Enjoy and leave your thoughts in the comments!
"Rocket launcher fresh in hands, we hightailed it over to Speeder Bay 4. It was our job to get the party started, and set up a last-minute defense of the fortress we had barely just taken control of.
Just when we were having fun laying into some B2s, their big brother decides to show up. The massive hulking B3 Ultra Battledroid is something they'd warned us about in the memo, but I never figured I'd encounter one up close.
'Throws, get those rockets primed and ready. You lucky sonuvagun are about to have the biggest kill of the day'
'... fire another one'
'... and another one'
They say third time lucky, but three misses later and we're running for our lives. Luckily our buddies from Blackbird Squadron decided to show up, a little late to the party but welcome none the less."

Mission 6.3, 253rd Elite Legion
Close up of the Battledroid here.
I have to say, this mission was a blast to both build and write about :^)
"I'm telling you commander, we've been here before. There are four Clonetroopers on the other side and they destroy us." "You're malfunctioning, we've never been here before. When we get back to base get your memory wiped, that's an order." "Roger Roger sir."
Day 1467 Y5D8 pict 1
They are here, sir!
Prepare yourselfs, troopers!
First wave Incomming!
Super battle droids! We need reinfo…
Come on troopers! Show those clankers what you've got!
In 20 BBY this was one of the many battles that took place on the harsh world of Felucia.
Many brave Clones of the 327th gave their lives on this planet.

Thanks to Gabriel for helping me figure out some things for this project!
I hope y'all enjoy!
"Two things you don't want to hear at once are "draw Seperatist forces to your position" and "Super Battledroids were spotted". Sure enough, it seems our little venture into the fortress had not gone unnoticed, and we had done an excellent job 'drawing attention to ourselves'. Super Battledroids poured out of what seemed to be an abandoned serviceway, and so we mowed them down as usual. Fun."

Mission 6.2, 253rd Elite Legion
We have arrived on Dennogra and commenced our investigations. As reported by the general of the Vigilance’s ground troops, the transport apparently met forceful resistance. Judging by the wreckage of the lost juggernaut, the faction responsible is highly trained, heavily armed and equipped with remnant tech form the clone wars. We have found remains of B1-Battledroids at the crash site as well as traces of military grade thermal explosives. Samples of the latter have been sent to the laboratories aboard the Vigilance for further examination, while the scan of the crash site continues. A full check of the juggernaut’s cargo still remains to be completed. Recovering the cargo proves dangerous because of the traces of explosives mentioned above. Agents are advised to proceed with caution and scan for possible booby traps before moving any of the debris. As for the crew of the juggernaut, two troopers have been treated by medics and have been transferred back to the vigilance, as were the remains of the dead. In conclusion, everything is going by protocol and we will proceed to examine the wreckage, identify the elements behind the attack and organize their eradication.

My part of the ongoing #empiresoldenemiescollab by @gsw.lug and my first build of the year. It was a lot of fun building the destroyed cockpit of the juggernaut and try my hands at some organic terrain once again. Not too proud of the photo, but it will have to suffice. More builds are in the works, stay tuned!
Jedi General B.O.B leads Commanders Gree and Kyto task force towards a Battledroid staging area.
Day 1271 Y4D175 pict 2
„TK-187 reporting. We have scanned the area around Mos Eisley and have now moved further into the city. Still no sign of the droids we’re looking for. We have searched all droid shops and junk yards, but still no sign of any protocol droid or astromech fitting the description. Yet, most of these places sell rather suspicious material. We found dozens of CIS battledroids from the Clone Wars. Most of them were damaged or offline. Still, the parts were confiscated, since they are military equipment and might be used by rebel forces in the future. Furthermore we have arrested several traders for dealing with imperial goods, most of which had been reported as stolen by the local Imperial forces. We will now continue with traffic checks. TK.187 over.“

This was more a tryout for several techniques, than a serious build at first, but is somehow evolved into a little vignette. I am not totally happy with it, but I think it is quite nice in terms of details, so I thought it would be worth showing. A back view will follow shortly. I hope you like it.

„I’m out!“, I screamed as I dove into cover. Shab, this was bad. We had not expected opposition before reaching the city limits, especially not in this force forsaken jungle! But then, out of nowhere, this di’kutla commando droids appeared. They had isolated us from the rest of our strike team and pushed us to the edge of a little landing pad. Bab, bap, bap! Sergeant Linx was hammering staccato salves of deece fire into the nearest clanker’s chest. I slung my rifle back over my shoulder. Where the shab was my knife? „Command, this is CT-8304, strike team theta. Hard contact! I repeat, hard contact! Sector 4.7. We need immediate backup!“ I shouted into the comlink. „Argh!“ A flesh of light passed me and Kilroy dropped to the floor, a smoking hole, where his chest should have been. „Man down!“ I screamed, but there was no-one to hear me. Linx was still laying down fire, as I pulled the remains of Kilroy to cover. „I repeat, we need backup, now!“ But I knew it was too late. Linx’s deece spat out its last bullet and he too drew his sword….

Here’s my part of the Muunilinst collab. This was a lot of fun to build, especially since I usually don’t do that much landscaping and freeform. Also, it was nice to use those commando droids for once. Check out part 1 and part 2, too!
"Lieutenant, CIS troops have broken through the left flank and are approaching quickly. The barricades won’t hold much longer without reinforcements. Take your squad to point gamma and stop them. We cannot afford to loose the palace! Granades, rockets, heavy blasters, whatever it takes. Hit ’em hard!“ - Commander CC-2224 „Cody“

I came up with this heavy blaster design recently and decided to build a quick vignette to show it.
Hey everyone!
Took some pictures of my AAT moc irl
It looks very nice! The structure isn’t the best but it holds up pretty well!
Hope you like it! 😁
„Go, go, go!“, I screamed at Koi as we climbed out of the impromptu exit of the facility, which he had blasted into the rock. The timers were set to 15 minutes and we had to get the shab out of there. Outside we were greeted by heavy blaster fire. The last remaining Vandosians had set up their snipers and E-webs amidst the debris on the battlefield. They weren’t even trying to hit us, but aimed for the smaller Kyber crystal formations, causing dangerous explosions, whenever they hit them. This was worse than a minefield. We sprinted along wrecks of LAATs, trying to keep our heads down as much as possible. „Looks like we get to see a firework after all!“ Koi laughed, but I could hear the strained undertone in his voice. Bang! Something like a hammer hit my chest. Gasping for breath, I was hurled backwards and landed flat on my back. This was it. I expected the pain any second now. „Get up, Sir! No time for a nap!“. Koi brought me to my feet. I checked my armor status and it was still sealed and intact. Then I registered the smoking crater just a meter in front of me and the smoking surface layer of my breast plate, which had been melted by the hot shrapnel. „Haar’chak! The paint is ruined!" „With all due respect, get the shab going, Sir!“ Koi pushed me. Another blaster round missed my helmet by mere centimeters to prove his point. „Right, let’s go!“ We sprinted on. As we approached the rendezvous point, still under heavy fire, the LAAT waiting for us looked more beautiful than ever before to me.

My entry for the final part of mission 16. A rather quick build, but a fun one nonetheless. I definitely enjoy building action sequences like this!
I finally put my Christophsis MOC back together! I displayed my Christophsis MOC at Bricking Bavaria 2019 and now after 2 freaking years I found the time, courage and motivation to rebuild the thing! 😄
I really hope you enjoy this build and leave your feedback in the comments below!!
Thanks to Nick for pointing it out to me.
Ta to Nannan for the inspiration to make a biomech, and the inspiration for an infected one when my straight up biomech failed.

Mission 16.2: Destruction of Vandos Prime
[Mission Log 1602; Sergeant Sakana]
The fight on the landing platform had been a real carnage. Only one of the troopers, I had initially landed with, got on the LAAT with me, which brought us to the surface and dropped us right into battle. War never sleeps and so do we. „You, with me!“ I shouted at him, as we approached the drop off. Whoever was skilled enough to survive what we had just experienced, was more than worthy to fight with in the next battle. When the doors revealed the breathtaking view of a vast glacial plateau, there was not time to waste. The CIS droids and Vandosian soldiers had put up barricades in the frozen desert, each positioned closely to highly explosive crystal formations. They seemed to know we wouldn’t risk to set off a chain reaction and used this knowledge to their advantage. I jumped the last few meters to the ground and started sprinting towards the enemy. The first shots of my DC 17 rained down on a Cold Assault Battledroid. Next thing I knew, it burst into a bright orange explosion. Had I switched to grenade launcher mode by accident? „You can thank me later, Sir!“, I heard, as the trooper from the landing platform dashed forward. He had picked up a rocket launcher form one of our dead comrades. Together we worked our way to a little natural trench, just at the edge of the CIS armory. „The good news, we have reached our main target. The bad news, I am all out of rockets.“, the trooper chimed. He was oddly happy under fire. I checked my stash of DC magazines. „I’m out, too. Not good.“ We crouched down and pressed against the edge of the trench. I could hear droids approaching our position. „What`s your name, trooper?“, I asked. „Koi, Sir!“ „Alright, Koi, I’m going to open a path for you and you grab as much ammo as you can get from those crates over there.“ He nodded. I picked an EMP grenade from my belt. „On my mark. Three, two, one…“

My second entry for the 253rd Elite Legion. This was a rather quick build, but it turned out to be rather nice, I think. I also used some custom stickers on the droid for once. Stay tuned for more 253rd action coming soon (hopefully).

Pushing the boat’s engine to the limit, we reached the Wookie chieftain’s craft just in time. A swarm of smaller crafts had encircled the Trandoshan cruiser and furry Wookies and white armored clones were descending onto the main deck from all sides. Swiftly we joined the boarding party and set foot on the ship. It was our job to keep their forces busy on the main deck and thus distract them from the rescue and tech teams doing their work below deck. „Time to fry some lizards!“ Mag’ro shouted as he loaded his gun. „You know they grow their limbs back, don’t you?“ Koi chimed in. „Does he ever shut up, Sir?“ „Only when he’s dead.“ I replied to Mag’ro’s remark. We spread out, expecting the green lizards to jump at us any time now. But the red blaster fire that met us was coordinated and rhythmic, very unlike the vagabond Trandos. „Seems the got some express parcel from the seps!“ Koi yelled, as he emptied his magazine into the first of the battalion of shiny B1 Battledroids coming our way. „Let’s send them back properly then!“ But that was more difficult than expected. The droids had manned canons along the deck and kept coming no matter how many we took down. „Koi, get to that console and disable the canons!“ I shouted as I shielded my head from raining shrapnel. „On it!“ Koi sprinted to the console closest to our position. „Dikut’la Trando design. Where’s the power switch?“ he muttered as he pushed a bunch of buttons at random. Suddenly a screeching sound could be heard and a dozen metal blinds in the ships hull opened slowly. A cacophony of growls and screams could be heard as hundreds of Wookies in the cages behind them saw sunlight for the first time in weeks. „Not the canons, but it makes for a motivating chant!“ Koi said, as he continued working on the console. But I didn’t even really listen to him. For a moment I was completely occupied by the spectacle that unfolded before me. The Wookies were reaching through the steel bars of their cages and grabbed any droid they could reach. Literally single handedly they tore the metal terrors to pieces. The tides had turned! „Don’t let the Wookies do all the work alone!“ I yelled and started firing again.

A very basic and quick build for mission 18.3. I kinda stole the Wookies behind cages idea from the other great entries submitted thus far. I hope you like it!
[Mission Log 1603; Sergeant Sakana]
We sprinted down the corridors of the CIS facility. After regrouping with the regiment and filling up our ammo stock, it was now time to blow this ice rock straight to Mustafar. We advanced into the mine shafts beneath the facility. Containers of raw cyber were stacked up against the cave’s walls that had partially formed naturally, partially been cleanly cut by mining droids. The combination of straight and curved forms made me nauseous. „Aim well and shoot first, we don’t want the clankers to hit the kyber!“ I yelled at Koi, as my DC bolts dropped another droid. My comlink beeped and we came to a halt. Sergeant Jester appeared in my hand as a light blue hologram, giving out final orders: Set timer charges to the cyber and get the shab out of here. The connection broke and flickered just a moment longer than usual. Suddenly a vague silhouette appeared, heavily distorted by static. „This is Jedi General Avec… You cannot blow up… kyber…chain reaction… damage to the planet… thousands will die… foundational stilts… compromise… bury the kyber.“ Was this true? Jester or Syphen had not told us anything about a chain reaction. This area with kyber was supposed to be a single concentrated pile, not a network. Yet, we had seen hundreds of crystals in the rocks on the surface. I had the feeling the Jedi might be right. Too many had died today, already, we could not risk it. „Change of plan, Koi. No big bang today, we’re going to bring down the stilts only.“ „Pardon, Sir?“ Koi had just started to unpack his collection of blast charges, which he handled a bit too lovingly for my taste. „So, no fireworks?“ „No, make sure to only set charges on the stilts, I’ll get the kyber out of the blast radius.“ Koi let his head hang in disappointment, but obeyed the order. He used his grappling hook to ascent to the top of the stilt and started carefully applying thermal detonators to it. „All done, Sir.“ „Good, time for evac. Let’s get out of here and light the candle!“

A very quick and unspectacular build as I am super busy these days. Nonetheless I didn't want to miss out on Mission 16.3 of the 253rd Elite Legion. Big thanks to my friend Mr. Grievous for the kyber crates idea.
