Bath is the only entire city in the UK to hold the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site, due to its outstanding universal value, including its Roman remains (especially the baths and hot springs), Georgian architecture, 18th-century town planning, and landscape setting. In 2021, it received a second UNESCO inscription as part of the transnational "Great Spa Towns of Europe" site. Located on Beechen Cliff in the southern part of the city, Alexandra Park offers stunning, unobstructed panoramic views over Bath's honey-colored stone buildings, the skyline, urban layout and beyond.
