Bath Abbey - stained glass window, depicting from left to right: Ruth, Jonathan, King Hezekiah, Nehemiah and Esther. It is by Powell of Whitefrairs, and replaces one destroyed in 1942. by Bolckow

Jonathan.

It took 9 years to complete (1947-56) and replaces an old Bell window lost in the air raids in 1942 during World War II. Installed in memory of William Preddy, Norman Jones and William Selwyn.

They asked each other: what is this and why here? I did not study them enough to get the answer but it was carved "sng for life" on this one, there were lots of different ones in the center of Bath.
