It's been a year since I last uploaded but I feel like now is the time to start getting back intosomewhat regular uploads!
This was taken in Vancouver, British Columbia whilst on holiday last year and is one of my favourite shots from the trip.

this is the disused 17/18th century water powered flour mill near lower withington Cheshire known as bate mill ,originally of timber frame infilled with brick , but much altered over the centuries
it's mill pool is fed from the brook that has the unusual name of peover eye
I understand that peover means "sparkling stream" which describes the brook perfectly
the bridge that carries the lane over the millpool looks to have been fairly recently rebuilt
it is a good spot to watch wildlife
