Saw this on the back of a building at Locchdochart Road in the east end of Glasgow at Barlanark Housing Scheme. What is amazing is that the local youth have not grafitted the graffiti.

One of the new Enviro 400MMCs from FiGs 2019 order, 34361 (SO68HFE) has been delivered without any branding, presumably on the basis that it can be used to cover peak journeys on the branded routes and where branded buses are off for maintenance. This bus was on a 38B service heading for Barlanark in Glasgow's East End. The 38 is the next service to be route-branded using a mint-green front wedge.

The Scottish Government have announced that mainland Scotland will enter Level 4 lockdown yet again on Boxing Day for at least three weeks. People are being encouraged to stay at home so again bus companies are having to prune their services accordingly. It seems this awful year hasn’t quite done kicking us down again.
Anyway, I’ll not end on a sad note so I’ll take this opportunity to wish all my followers a Happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year. Surely 2021 will be better......

Colour in the suburbs
Seen heading into Glasgow City Centre on the 38E variant of the 38 group of services is 34367 (SO68HFL). At the height of the pandemic, the 38E to Baillieston was withdrawn and Baillieston served by an extension to the 38B, which would normally only go as far as Barlanark.
Despite service levels slowly returning to something resembling normal since then, the 38B still runs to Baillieston on Sunday and no 38E runs on that day of the week. But outwith those the regular 38E has been reinstated, albeit it’s the only one of the 38 group of services that stops in the early evening. However, at present it is only running short between Baillieston and the city centre, with services terminating in Renfield Street.
Although now based at Caledonia depot, Parkhead always had one evening journey on the 38B between Hope Street and Barlanark which ran off a 2 running board. 67075 is seen here on West Regent Street heading out east on the evening peak.
