Just one shot of Malibu Barbie from The Malibu PJ made in Taiwan's lot.
This cowboy hat is made in Hong Kong and it's awesone! Just one piece: the strings are moulded and when not on head they stay horizontal.

Barbie Superstar era: Barbie Wetsern, Rare Mexican Gift set, sold only in Mexico, made by Aurimat, 1980
First of I bought the reproduction of Superstar Christie as soon as she became available on Amazon, I didn’t want to take my chances of not being able to get her, so I snapped her straight up. Considering the original goes for a minimum of £500 nib I thought £54 was a bargain, even if the faces are slightly different, she’s still gorgeous nonetheless. Secondly I purchased the Malibu 50th anniversary gift set. I bought them last week after waiting near a month for them to be restocked, they kept selling out as soon as they were available. I initially wanted to wait till the price dropped a little as £102 is quite a bit, especially since I paid a lot less for my mod friends gift set, on top of that I already own two Malibu Barbies and two P.J dolls (mainly wanted Christie). As time went on I wished I had bought them as soon as they became available, however my wait was worth it as last Tuesday they were available on Amazon, and guess what, they had dropped to £82, not a huge saving but £20 less was worth the wait for them. Thirdly I purchased the western Barbie Dallas horse from 1981. I currently own western winking Barbie\ western Ken & skipper. I didn’t own a horse up until this point so Dallas is a welcome addition to my dolls, I’ll clean Dallas up and take some pics as he looks abit musty at the moment . I also hope to find midnight to go along with my western collection at some point. On the topic of western Barbie I also purchased the trailer and jeep set the same day I purchased Dallas, however that has yet to arrive in the post. And last but not least I purchased shaving Ken from 1999. I bought him on a whim as I liked the look of him. I’m not as much of a collector of dolls past the mid 90s, however I do tend to pick out certain ones that catch my eye, and this Ken is no exception. Ken needs a good spa day as he smells interesting…. However a good soak and scrub will do him wonders.
