Koda worked with a special effects team for this shoot, she wanted a red background to pop the red accents on her strappy boots, she had her design team add specks of black paint to the wall to help tie the colors together. She also loves the contrast of red/black. She also chose to use an un-edited take, she loves the honesty in un-edited pictures. She has been dating Malik for over a year, however they broke up two weeks ago. So she called upon him as a last favor to do this shoot with her.

Koda is wearing Monster High Label Boots, an unconfirmed leather jacket believed to Hannah Montana, an ooak mini black dress from local designer Addison Nold, and a studded belt from the Stardoll label.

Do you remember those leather bags I found nrfb that does not appear in italian booklets or advertising? I just realized it is in one sticker of Barbie's Panini album dated 1983. So I realized I could go and glance through my Barbie's journals, as they are from the early 80's. The first pic I found was from january 1984, so they probably were on market in 1983.

Unfortunately, as It often happens in Barbie photo novels, they used same outfits for more than a story. So did they for these leather bags, so the two used are always same colours.

The outfit on the left, on Tracy doll, is complete of all pieces: leather top, leather mini gown, tights, squared shoulder bag with fringes.

The outfit on the right, on Superstar Barbie, has only three original pieces, mini gown was missing. The leather top has a different neckline (don't know if the word is correct), shoulder bag is different and rounded. Tights' colour is also different, here it's a light blue.

Two similar outfit were sold here in Italy. In the next pics I'll post some references. There are not many and unluckily I couldn't find pics of boxed outfit, except the one on the left.

Quite difficult to find!

New leather bag in town

They are really not so easy to find, even though I live in the Country where they were sold

It was a set of three different leather bags, in three different but recurring shapes, in different colours.

These three bags are visible in Il Giornale di Barbie, where they were used as accessories in Barbie's photo novels. I found three boxed sets, from the same seller, probably fund of store.

I have already posted them some years ago.

3 different colours for the same outfit.

The one in the centre is literally the last outfit arrived at my home one week ago.

I decided to try a match with another leather bag I found, that is light red and light grey.
