This is a 3 shot pano of the Dam on Banner Creek. I made my way out in front of the Dam as far as I could go by climbing over the various sized rocks and boulders to get as close to the center of the Dam as I could. Processed in Lightroom, CC Photoshop CC, and On1 Photo Suite 10 Effects.

FEC job 10 spots a single USG load at Banner Supply with the two empties in front of it, making for this "lengthy" consist with 431 LHF.

I've posted this picture again with a much lower resolution size of 1485x254, in the hope that it would fit perfectly in the page header, Unfortunately, it doesn't : ( I'd like to know what dimensions the page header is.

The new banner for Studio 26.

The Lorain County Visitor's Bureau is currently in the process of redecorating their Visitor's Center both inside and out. This banner, with one of my Lorain Lighthouse photos, was placed on a light post that lines the drive into the parking lot. They are also using three of my photos on their new wallpaper border being placed in the main room of the center.

I am so fortunate to have a great relationship with the LCVB. I am honored to be one of their photographers. I love being able to support the travel and tourism industry in Lorain County. I have lived here my entire life and am proud to call Lorain home.

This workers' banner includes as a central theme the 8 hours day. On April 21 in 1856 stonemasons walked off the job in Melbourne where they were building the new university. They demanded better working conditions in the form of a reduced maximum number of daily working hours. At the time people could work up to 14 hours in the day.

This was an idea first proposed by the British social radical Robert Owen in 1817. It was a nice way of dividing the day into 8 hours of work, 8 hours of recreation and 8 hours of rest.

This kind of banner or estandarte is carried by Zapotec women of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec in religious processions

This banner is something that Madison had to make for her first communion. It had to represent what first commmunion meant to her. She did all the work herself. If she needed anything she asked and we got it for her.

Banner Peak from Thousand Island Lake, Ansel Adams Wilderness, July 2007.

Thousand Island Lake stretches out for miles in front of Banner Peak in the high sierra mountains along the pacific crest and John Muir trails. Hiking up to this section we took the steep trail, which is shorter, but strenuous. This mountain alluded me two times earlier, once due to heavy snow and another a result of a miscommunication. But finally after making it up to the lake we were rewarded. Although it was a very cold night.

Delighted to have been selected as the latest group cover for the wonderful Orchid Gallery. Many thanks indeed xxx

sometimes titles just fall into place

After absolutely zero sleep the night before (I've been sick for three weeks...still trying to shake this crazy cough/cold, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to Thousand Island Lake : ) I got out of the tent at 5:45 ready to photograph the alpenglow lighting up Banner Peak. I searched all over for the right place...my head was pounding but I was on a mission. I finally found this spot that was sheltered from the wind. I would like to thank DayQuil for the making of this photo...without it, this image and my entire trip would not have been possible : )
