Didn't have a title at first, but setoboonhong came up with "Bamboo Curtain". ;-))

Bamboo
Tanabe Chikuunsai IV, who is of the fourth generation of one of Japan’s most renowned bamboo artist families, is known for his large-scale site-specific installations. With his academic sculpture education and the handcraft he learned from his family, he adapts traditional bamboo work to a contemporary approach and form, forcing the limits of his material to the utmost with respect to aesthetics and resilience.
In his work depicting the motions and forms of nature, Chikunsaai IV questions the contemporary human being’s relation with nature. The organic material he uses reminds the spectators of the sophisticated stories of Asian mythology, inviting them to become part of a tale. In his sculptures, we see the elegance of centuries old Japanese culture in its simplest form. For the site-specific installation he built for Odunpazarı Modern Museum (OMM), the artist used the five main constituents of nature as a theme: Water, fire, air, earth and humanity.

Odunpazarı Modern Museum is a cross-cultural platform where modern and contemporary art from Turkey and abroad is exhibited with a universal perspective.
Located in the historical, Ottoman-era neighborhood of Odunpazarı in Eskişehir, the OMM building was designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates (KKAA), the world-renowned architectural office.
OMM was founded by Eskişehir-born architect and art collector Erol Tabanca.

Single use BBQ skewers. If there is a sustainable option of things like this I try and buy them. They tend to be better quality and look good too! I based my design thesis (back in the mid ‘90s) on the benefits of ecological sound design, feel it’s been talked about all that time and only now we are doing something.
Finally, from October this year the UK will ban single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls, cutlery, balloon sticks, and certain types of polystyrene cups and food containers, can’t come soon enough.

I fell in love with bamboo when I was in Japan — the textures, the patterns, the way the sun streamed through, the dancing shadows in the breeze… Every view was different and yet endlessly the same, like the sea.
Bamboo lines the stream at Monet's Garden, Giverny. I would love to float down this dreamy stream today.

Phyllostachys aureosulcata is a cold hardy running bamboo with a distinctive yellow stripe in the culm groove (or sulcus) that is often grown as an ornamental. Several forms and cultivars of this species exist in a variety of culm color patterns. Phyllostachys aureosulcata f. spectabilis (showy yellow groove bamboo) reverses the colors of the typical form with yellow culms and a green sulcus.

The bamboo or gentle lemurs are the lemurs in genus Hapalemur. These medium-sized primates live exclusively on Madagascar. The greater bamboo lemur, formerly known as Hapalemur simus, was considered part of this genus, but is now classified as belonging to the genus Prolemur.
The bamboo lemurs are characterized by a grey-brown fur, which varies by species. Their muzzles are short and their ears are round and hairy. Lengths vary from 26 to 46 cm, with tails just as long or longer, and they weigh up to 2.5 kg.
Bamboo lemurs prefer damp forests where bamboo grows. Although they can be active any time of the day, they are often active just after dawn. Though primarily arboreal, they sometimes come down to the ground.
The lesser gentle lemurs live together in groups of three to five animals, which probably represent families composed of a male, one or two females, and their offspring. They communicate with a variety of sounds.
They are called bamboo lemurs because they almost exclusively eat bamboo. How bamboo lemurs can detoxify the high amounts of cyanide (from bamboo shoots) in their diets is unknown. Their life expectancy is up to 12 years. – Wikipedia
