The one and only hill on this last section of the South West Coast Path. I have now climbed the equivalent height of 4x the height of Mount Everest in completing this much of the path (over 35000m)

In 2003, famous sculpture Antony Gormley used naked volunteers to pose and created 51 stunning works positioned on the vast salt flats north of the tiny outback town of Menzies.

From the series on Burial Grounds. I had a good wander around Ballard Burial Ground in Miltown Malbay recently and was impressed by how people used locally quarried stone in the past to commemorate the last resting place of loved ones.

 

The crypts in this part of Clare are quite plain but beautifully cut.

 

In this image you can see that the stone roof on the nearest crypt has fallen in and has been replaced by a grassy mound of earth.
