The Bali Myna (Leucopsar rothschildi) is a critically endangered bird native to the Indonesian island of Bali. It is known for its striking white plumage, black wing and tail tips, and a distinctive patch of blue skin around its eyes. This species is found primarily in Bali’s forests, particularly in Bali Barat National Park. Due to habitat destruction and illegal poaching, its wild population has drastically declined, making it one of the rarest birds in the world. Conservation efforts, including breeding programs and reintroduction initiatives, are ongoing to help save the species.

Eat, Pray & Love in Bali.
Sitting next to him while enjoying the serene, crystal clear beach and the view of the luscious green forest, made me realized that there is nobody else I want to share this moment and this place with. As Julia Roberts said in the movie, "I think I deserve something beautiful". I can say that meeting you, Chrollo Lucifer, is one of the beautiful things that happened to my life, and this moment in Bali is just a plus. I love you Eze, even though you are always hungry xD <3 :*
Rising with the sun in Nusa Dua, where every morning paints a beautiful new beginning. Bali, Indonesia.

Nikon D850
The camera did not do it justice. Digital cameras, even the D850, seem to muddle deep reds no matter the white balance setting. It's as though they can't handle the color space. Maybe I should switch to Adobe RBG. Film would have done it, but my film camera, stupidly, was back in the hotel room.
As usual, I've not done anything in post to this image.
This is one of the few night sky images I successfully captured during our vacation in Bali. The image is a panorama of four continuous shots taken near the beach in Candidasa. Unfortunately, although light pollution was not an issue, cloudiness covered the beauty of the otherwise starry sky almost every night.
I want to take the opportunity to convey that Bali is paradisiacal. The Balinese people are a delight and island's beauty is nothing short of remarkable. Our driver/guide, Mr. Wayan Lia, made the trip even more enjoyable with his insight regarding each location as well as the Balinese customs and philosophy of life. This trip has been one of the most memorable my wife and I have taken!
Bali is famous for being the place to be when it comes to surfing and yoga!
Visitors are also blessed with magical jungle resorts for very affordable prices! This is a bar area of one of these resorts close to Ubud, the capital of Yoga.

Sanur (Indonesian:Pantai Sanur, pronounced sah-noor) is a coastal stretch of beach of Denpasar city of southeast Bali, about 30 minutes drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport, which has grown into a little town in its own right.
The northern part of Sanur beach was used as the landing site for the Dutch invasion troops during the Dutch intervention in Bali (1906). During World War II, Sanur was again the entry point through which the Japanese forces landed to occupy the island of Bali.
Today Sanur contains a number of resorts such as the Medina and Bali Hyatt (not to be confused with the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua) and is a popular tourist destination.
