A random spot we came across on the way to Lichtenstein castle. You can see the ruins of Burgruine Hohenurach on top of the mountain.

Well, after we all hopefully received rich presents yesterday and most likely ate too much, I continued my mental review of the year.
In early spring I was in Bad Elster in Vogtland for three weeks for a cure. I used my free time there to explore the area.
One of the most beautiful places I discovered was here, the Trieb valley near the Pöhl dam. Another place I'll definitely want to visit again once I'm around.
Nun, nachdem wir gestern alle hoffentlich reich beschenkt wurden und mit großer Wahrscheinlich zu viel gegessen haben, setzte ich nun meinen gedanklichen Jahresrückblick fort.
Im zeitigen Frühjahr war ich für drei Wochen in Bad Elster im Vogtland zu einer Kur. Dort habe ich meine Freizeit genutzt, um die Gegend zu erkunden.
Einer der schönsten Orte, die ich dabei entdeckt habe war der hier, das Triebtal in der Nähe der Talsperre Pöhl. Ein weiterer Ort, den ich auf jedeen Fall erneut besuchen will, sobald ich einmal in der Nähe bin.

These are pretty. They like open sunny spaces. I enjoy the mussed up petal arrangements and rich color.
Not sure what type of Lemur ...a ruffed red ,black & white or mongrel ?? I found this guy at the lemur section in the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Like most lemurs he didn`t keep still for long . Just enough time for me to capture his powerful stare .
