While Marty waits for the swelling of her mouth to go away, she will play in her room in the meantime and enjoy the sound of the rain. She looks forward to a visit from the tooth fairy tonight.

I got my love of trees early in life. This is a scan of a shot taken in 1974 at a beach called Jackson Point in Jamaica, where I was born (the country not the beach!). Since I am admitting age down below I can say that I was 9 in this shot.

I got tagged by my good friend Kelly aka Daisey6265 and have to share 11 things about me. I have chosen to follow Kelly's lead and share a mix of good and bad things, sometimes in the same item. I did a similar tag game in December 08 (16 things about me) and am going to try and not repeat anything I share there since you can check that one out too if you are interested :) You will also see that I have gotten a lot more comfortable about sharing details about me since the last time I was tagged.

1. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and have, and will, stick with them through thick and thin.

2. I strongly believe in the right for everyone to openly and honestly practice their beliefs, with the caveat of “as long as no one gets hurt” and the full recognition that “hurt” can be a contextual thing, and not always easy to determine.

3. I am a very positive person and look for the good in all situations and always do my best to give people the benefit of any doubt. That does not make me gullible, just willing to take chances, and it's an approach that has served me well.

4. I have a very laid back personality and learned a long time ago to not worry about things I can't control.

5. I am almost 44 (June) but don't make a bit fuss about age, dates, anniversaries, etc. I think that we put too much into “special days” and forget that we need to make every day special. That does get me in trouble sometimes though as not everyone sees things my way.

6. Speaking of “my way” I can be very opinionated and have been told on occasion that I think I am always right. That's because I am! LOL – just kidding!!!!

7. I love animals and my goal coming out of high school was to be a veterinarian. However, when faced with the choice of studying hard in my first two years of University to get the to get the required super high grades vs partying hard (my first time living away from home) I went with the latter and so I have to now pay a veterinarian to look after my dogs.

8. I graduated with a degree in Wildlife Biology. While I have been lucky enough to generally work in my field, I have never worked as as a biologist.

9. I like to enjoy life, whether it is alone time (which I highly value) or time with family or friends and have often said that the day I stop being a big kid, someone should shoot me!

10. I never do anything half-way. That's mostly but not always a good thing as I sometimes struggle with balancing everything I want or need to do with the amount of waking hours a day.

11. I'll never be bored, there are just too many things in life to enjoy.

Looking at this list I should have added one more - I can be verbose! ;-)

Stay tuned for my list of who I am tagging! I will be contacting you directly then updating here :)

The future starts today, not tomorrow.

These dancers can be seen in the Benson Sculpture Garden, Loveland, Colorado. The work is called “Triangle”, by Kirsten Kokkin.

Inspired by the Kreative People Treat This Challenge 147, using abstractartangel77’s fantastic fractal image, “Christmas fractal”. You can see a small version of that source image in the first comment box below.

Entered in The Award Tree’s Challenge 145.0, Back From the Future.

I was sorting through a few things and found the little VW Van Lego gave away a while back and I just dumped with a few other things I was gonna break up and sort out, and suddenly it hit me that it was the same scale as the Dimensions DeLorean... so I had to do a quick shot.

More or less straight out camera (cropped, and a few dog hairs removed). Lit with my trusty Ipod Touch, and a £2 Led lamp from ikea (which was accidentally reflected in the VW windows, but kinda look cool).

This was 5 months in the making. Not only was this the best day of the entire year to complete this shot with the winter setting, but it's even more fitting that I could use it for this week's #FlickrFriday theme #BackToTheFuture. The previous photo I took on October 21 and can be seen here flic.kr/p/ptNLz1 . I've been waiting all winter for a really good snow to finalize my vision for this photo. The first photo was taken with my Canon 70D while today's winter scene I took with my brand new Canon 5D Mark III.

A little bit of cinematic toy photography.

This is a real Delorean, in a real (dying of course) mall in a real (dying of course) city of Scranton, PA. Stopped @ Scranton for a visit to the Seafood House. As we took a quick walk around, I wondered what Marty and Doc would think. This strange mall with only a few souls wandering around. Pickpockets wandering around outside (yes I almost had an incident walking out of the mall). Empty fountains, and almost no stores left. Even the food court was closed on a Saturday @ 4pm.

Mad Dog from BTTF 3 by Owe1

From the "Back To the Future" Exhibition at Guadalajara, Mx

Taken with Sony Nex F3 Mirrorless Camera.

Looking down on Universal Studios "Courthouse Square".

Courthouse Square is a backlot located at Universal Studios. The set is composed of several facades that form an archetypal American town square with a courthouse as its centerpiece. The set is most famous for being featured as downtown Hill Valley in the Back to the Future trilogy.

As seen in the Hill Valley sim. Lovely details and raising money for Parkinson's in honor of Michael J. Fox's 60th birthday.

My grandfather had Parkinson's...hoping we can keep pushing for a cure.

Das Thema für diesen Flickr Friday ist: Back To The Future (Zurück in die Zukunft)

"If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits eighty-eight miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious shit." ~ Doc Brown

This weeks theme on #FlickrFriday, #BacktotheFuture. Dr. Emmett Brown was on to something the day he hit his head and came up with the Flux Capacitor. Now if only he could find the 1.21 Gigawatts of power necessary to power his Flux Capacitor, time travel would be possible. So following Ohms Law, Dr Brown would soon realize that voltage x amperage would = 1.21 Gigawatts.

Feel free to leave a comment or fave.

Thanks for looking.

This is the first Robin I've seen since last Fall. Robins return to this area for a few months to mate and raise their young. This one was darting all over the place finding the worms that crawled up onto the driveway.

Here is commission build that did not go through, I had to use the large slope for the hood and had to put in some kind of a windshield. Fonctionnal doors and seats 2 minifigs ;)

Almost right on time for the anniversary LOL
