Whilst the DB machine runs round, the now disused National Power coal silos and conveyor look on, the Freightliner and aggregate terminal can be seen in the backround.

Haii, guise! I hope everyone's having a fabulous new year! Sorry I've been MIA lately, but I was in Hawaii and it was absolutely incredible!

The orange in the backround are leaves that are still hanging on. Wish I knew how to clone, that white dot on his head, gone!
In the backround from left to right: Volcán Puntiagudo (2.493 msnm), Volcán Osorno (2.652 msnm) and Cerro Sarnoso (1221 msnm). In the foreground and between de aforementioned peaks stand two unnamed hills.
A very early sundial which has been reconstructed on the church at Nendrum monastic site, in the backround is the remains of a stone tower

Näsinpuisto park at the northern side of Tampere on the side of Tammerkoski river in evening lights. Näsinneula tower on the backround.
This picture was taken in March and I have reworked and replaced it. I also tried this new framing that I have seen from other posters on flickr. First time I have tried it with the blurring and shadowing around the edges. Wasn't really sure of what I was doing. Let me know what you think?

I spotted this beautiful bird when we were in Addo Elephant Park. I think it is a type of Weaver.
The house we are staying in has no internet (not even a TV or radio). Idon't mind no TV, I like having backround noise so a radio would be nice. We are sitting at the local restaurant that has internet, but it is a bit erratic. I have been told it is a spectacled weaver.
I basically use a chess table and a big paper for backround to eliminate shadows i use light diffuser
That's a car in the backround. I have a weak heart for snails and worms (sounds gross, huh?! *lol*) so I picked it up and brought it to the next grassland after this shot :)
Btw: I'm going to London on Monday (super excited about that) for a couple of days. If anybody out there that lives in and around London has tips what to visit, where to shop, to eat or to go I would really appreciate it :)

Easter weekend 1968 has a full 22 car San Diegan heading northbound. Seen here entering Rose Canyon with Mt. Soledad as the backround.
This Image was taken on descent from Monte Chiampac. The Rock Massive on the left side are the Cir-Peaks. Fortunately when i took out my Cam the Sun broke through the Clouds an illuminated the Scene.

1385 in Chicago with the Sears tower in the backround coming under the C&NW style semaphore signals.
Someday the bottom will be straighter when I get a decent black velvet for the backround. A beginner, still , I am.

I loved these old wooden boats that were scattered over the coves on Langkawi Island in Malaysia. This one provided for a particularly good shot with the small island in the backround and multiple layers of clouds.
I've replaced the previous HDR version with this non-HDR version.
