Unfortunately, Linden's bass player left the band just two weeks after we did this photoshoot - so none of the group photos will be able to be used for anything. We were planning on using this picture for posters. Bummer.
Thanks to the fabulous Jules Ameel (http://www.flickr.com/photos/julio22/) for his help at this shoot. There's no way in hell I would've been able to do any of it without him...especially because I was using his camera during this part of the shoot haha. Lit by two AB800s. One to the right of the band through a large octabox, one through a beauty dish above the band. We literally had under half an hour to set everything up and shoot. Seriously...Jules...you are my hero in life and my new BFF.
We titled this shoot "Epic Sunset" :)
That pigeon in the backround was no doubt watching to see what this fella was up to.
Since the turkeys have decided that the neighbour up the road has better eats the pigeons that are hanging around are fair game for my camera.

Haii, guise! I hope everyone's having a fabulous new year! Sorry I've been MIA lately, but I was in Hawaii and it was absolutely incredible!

Whilst the DB machine runs round, the now disused National Power coal silos and conveyor look on, the Freightliner and aggregate terminal can be seen in the backround.

There's a double sunbow (or whatever it's called) over the top of the barn. Actually, if you can really tell, there's also one on the left and right that come together in the middle of the double sunbow. When I saw this, I had to get it! And, you should know by now I really like this barn... ha ha.
It's named the way it is b/c I think the sky with the cloud pattern looks like the blue iris of an eye. But I'm sure you already figured this out...... ;)
The orange in the backround are leaves that are still hanging on. Wish I knew how to clone, that white dot on his head, gone!

In the backround from left to right: Volcán Puntiagudo (2.493 msnm), Volcán Osorno (2.652 msnm) and Cerro Sarnoso (1221 msnm). In the foreground and between de aforementioned peaks stand two unnamed hills.
A very early sundial which has been reconstructed on the church at Nendrum monastic site, in the backround is the remains of a stone tower

Näsinpuisto park at the northern side of Tampere on the side of Tammerkoski river in evening lights. Näsinneula tower on the backround.
That's a car in the backround. I have a weak heart for snails and worms (sounds gross, huh?! *lol*) so I picked it up and brought it to the next grassland after this shot :)
Btw: I'm going to London on Monday (super excited about that) for a couple of days. If anybody out there that lives in and around London has tips what to visit, where to shop, to eat or to go I would really appreciate it :)

I spotted this beautiful bird when we were in Addo Elephant Park. I think it is a type of Weaver.
The house we are staying in has no internet (not even a TV or radio). Idon't mind no TV, I like having backround noise so a radio would be nice. We are sitting at the local restaurant that has internet, but it is a bit erratic. I have been told it is a spectacled weaver.
