This picture was shot on a tripod with five exposures (-4..-2..0..+2..+4EV). I used Photomatix to create the HDR with tone mapping and detail enhanced. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. 1 layer mask to increase color and contrast in the afternoon sky. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. Some dodging and burning to bring out details. Used Nik Sharpener Pro to sharpen image.
I was just driving home and saw this looong vacant lot suddenly being excavated for a new home construction. Presented in full HDR!

Usually, I plan my builds a long time in advance, but every once in a while, I build something on a whim. This is one of those times. I very much enjoyed building my tractors and felt like building something similar. I'll also be attending a show for models of cranes, heavy haulage and earth moving equipment in March. Hence, this JCB backhoe loader.
I found this gem while exploring the back roads of rural Wood County in the very heart of Wisconsin - I don’t ever recall seeing a Farmall tractor this old with a backhoe – and it looks like the attachment is about the same vintage as the tractor – the large round objects just above the front wheels appear to be counter-weights. – October 2015 ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©
Finally forced myself to cover LEGO PF motors with some greebling. The black battery awaits a sticker (and so does the door) but other than that - this part of the model is finished.
What I need now are the new, long and expensive linear actuators to finish the backhoe arm.
Why is the color "medium azure"? The "medium azure" will be the color scheme for my construction theme. It's striking and different.
This model is inspired by the "Fendt tractor" model. Seen it's documentary of fracturing inspires me to build this. This will only fit one Minifigure. The loader and bucket do have articulation. Manage to fix in the hydraulic parts but not as realistic as the real model. I decided to custom build the loader and the bucket as well. It will look better using the pre-made parts for that. For now, I just prefer this look.
Under the cover of clouds, L-CHI104 slowly rolls through Patterson Road in Joliet, IL. The train will work Joliet Yard for about an hour before continuing east towards Hodgkins. The beautiful Whiteface BN SD60M up front has sadly been sent to storage since the uploading of this photo after suffering a severe mechanical failure.

These little farms are all over everywhere up here, thanks to the Mennonites and Amish.
These files are converted with an app called Monochrome2DNG. The DNG is opened in Adobe Camera Raw and then I massage the tones to taste with the sliders. On this one I applied a slight amount of Vertical correction in the Geometry tab, to correct the leaning wall in the building with the "H" on it. Maybe I should have applied a bit of Dehaze to it too, as it was a very humid day, and you can see that down at the end of the road. But I didn't.

Part of my 7th build in my Iron Builder round against loafbuilds, using the Cat Tail in keetorange. Used twice here.

Built for our Iron Builder round against Tyler (Legohaulic) and Michaela (Littlehaulic)! The seed part is the yellow rounded 1x2 slope.
The backhoe swings back to take out another section of the old Marlton Kmart Garden Shop. The blocks show the building's original color.
