My new (first) backdrop just arrived so I had to test it as soon as I opened the box... The bear happened to be the most cooperative model at the time.
Strobist info: one light camera left shot through white umbrella (1/4), one bare flash camera right (1/16), aperture stopped down to f/11. Black muslin backdrop approx 6 ft behind model.

An early morning class (back in March), which happened to be accompanied by this young man playing so peacefully.
I just got a white seamless backdrop and did a test shoot with Brent to see how to use it, and these are the results
Caught Brent in a quick moment then made it look more dramatic then it was haha.

its a cool sim with some excellent Mod backdrops to prop your avi against and snap away
The grey backdrop was entirely colored and lit by a flash with a bounce card and pink gel (piece of plastic) ; the circular reflector gently lit the right side of my face

Thanks to my wife finding this tutorial I was able to figure out the flash syncs. Now to find the right Height and power with the right ISO Shutter speed and F stop. I am almost there and may even watch the other videos she found on YouTube! It may be this room may need the soft box cloths put in. But if I get it then I have learned something! The set did not come with the direct cable mount syncs but works well with the remote. The extra three wires really threw me off! Remember before the critique I am posting the bad with the good. There is even an available light shot in here. So far my favorite is ISO 200 at 125 shutter speed at F 8 with strobes on low power. So now I figure how to make the triangle in the check and get the hair lit in the back, hand to get the bright spot at 11 and 2. The 11 and 2 thing may not be necessary.
