we came across the perfect little hallow, an old run down farm with over grown trees and plants. It was the perfect backdrop for my daughters portraits.

Just as I was taking a picture of this wall, a man entered the frame. What struck me was the piercing focus of his gaze, the precise tilt of his hat brim, the graceful cradling of the cigarette. A line of chalk follows him on the wall and a scrawled "Fack" precedes him. The Rat Pack, the cowboy, and the jazz musician have nothing on this man's lingering cool.
In a span of three segments of sidewalk, his presence transformed an intriguing wall into a mere backdrop for his character. When he exited the frame, his absence seemed to accentuate the impact of the human element.
I can no longer find the website these came from. It would be great to have one of these painted canvases, but not everyone has enough room for artwork 18 feet high and 42 feet wide. But you could cut out a section for an amazing feature wall.
This bridge crosses the river Glomma, near the Rånåsfoss powerstation, in Akershus, Norway. It was during a june evening that the fog came in thick, and made for a nice backdrop to the bridge itself.

Every year on Father's Day, old cars rumble through the park gates in full show. Roughly 1000 classic cars are on display, ranging from Model T Fords to the latest Dodge Vipers. This event is one of a kind, and what more could any Dad ask for than this? Bring your whole family down for an exciting day discovering cars of the past and present against the spectacular backdrop that is Fraser River Heritage Park. The event starts at 9 a.m. and goes to 3 p.m.
