Summer 2015
Apologies for my sudden disappearance here, Flickr friends. A bulldozer working in our neighborhood cut the fiber line coming into our house on Thursday, so I was without Internet until late Friday. I’ll be catching up with your latest images soon.
HCS!
Most towns have 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon events. We have "fill a stroller up with whatever you want to drink and start pushing till you drink it all or pass out" events. Evidently, this stroller served its purpose and the pusher man/woman had enough and left it in the middle of the street. I checked, there was nothing left, so, I just took a couple of shots and then pushed the stroller to the side of the street.

I am always surprised that how few people look my way when I am photographing. Perhaps a 3-wheeler, has its advantages.
"There's a story in here somewhere, I just know it."
I kind of feel that this has a bit of an Alex Colville look to it (despite the lack of colour) so, what the heck! I went with a direct rip off of his title, even though for that particular painting, there really is very little resemblance.

Unedited puddle reflection shot of a lady+babystroller and the Amsterdam Tax Office.
No editing, no tricks, no Photoshop, just another wicked mobile phone cam photo :)
I think the very good quality of my mobile's cam is really becoming an issue, I had to stare at the big version of this puddle reflection for a while to see where the water ends and the dry ground starts...I might have to smash the lense or at least rub some dirty puddle water on it, to break the brilliance of the colors a bit and avoid creating the impression that I'm trying to pass of regular shots as wickedness, hehe ;-))
And now, it's really almost weekend, yay :D
Venice isn’t hard to get around, as long as, you can handle stairs and steps and cobbled streets. Around San Marco square, there are a few wheelchair accessible places, but it’s a tough city for wheelchairs and baby strollers. It's a city of many bridges, every one of them offering a lovely sight to see.

Paris, France - July 2019: Painter of Montmartre portraying a child at The Place du Tertre, a few streets away from Montmartre's Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur. The child's other is sitting next to her child.
April 27, 2022 - This beautiful Art Nouveau building dates from 1900. Located at Oudestraat 148. It is on the National Monument list in the Netherlands. The building just to the left is the Nieuwe Toren (New Tower).
"Rectangular building constructed in partly plastered red mechanical brick on a natural stone plinth. Truncated hipped roof covered with boulet tiles and a cantilevered gutter frame on bobbins. The two-storey building has a higher tower-shaped building section under a tent roof on the street corner." Luckily, the couple had taken the baby with them to the water, and the crows only got the child's snacks...
Gorgeous evening, decided to take longer route home from work and enjoy the evening light and breeze alongside the canal, and snap a few people watching shots on the way.
