UP SD40N 2007 leads a G47 transfer onto the Harbor Belt at B12 Interlocking on a sunny mid-morning. The recently-rebuilt motor still had that fresh paint sparkle as it rolled past.

I think this was 1st March 2004. B12 class 61572 on a 3
P20 Parcels charter. I could only do the morning at Burrs , this was as everyone had boarded and I went off very gloomily to work, jessops at the time, knowing full sun was forecast all day. This is the wonderful Agfa Scala , scanned. What a slide film it was
Deep into the forests of the region of Värmland in Sweden, lies this well-hidden car cemetery. Hundreds of cars from the 40s, 50s, and 60s are spread out in the area, some of them covered with moss, with trees growing through them, stacked on top of each other or placed side by side. While it has not been confirmed, many of the cars are said to have belonged to the US military who left the autos after World War II.

A slightly different version of the earlier posted shot of the B12's last working before overhaul. I like this angle more, though I like the modern cars and road signs less.
CN L501 jumps back onto the WC after setting out one car at U.S. Global Petroleum, formerly Magie Brothers Oil. After crossing B12, the train will work Transcendia before returning to Schiller Park.
South of B12, the former WC roughly follows the Des Plaines River south towards Forest Park where CSX (ex-B&OCT) ownership begins. This petroleum industry off Fullerton Avenue is the only online customer on this section of the Waukesha Sub, and the trackage south of here has not been regularly used since CN bought the EJ&E in 2009.
