The greatest event in Indian history was enacted on the streets of Leicester for the first time: - The final journey of Rama, Sita, Laxman and Hanuman back to Ayodhya.

Lord Rama arrived in Ayodhya in the night to an array of lights which lit the path to his palace. The scene when Rama and Bharata met was enacted in Leicester for the first time. Here are some highlights. The journey was from Orton Square, Curve theatre to the ISKCON Hare Krishan Mandir in the heart of Leicester.

Unsuccessful attempt on the Ram janmbhoomi temple in Ayodhya. Islamic terrorists were involved in this.

During my visit in different place in India I found that many of the Hindu temples were demolished by Islam followers in India while there rulings. they build there mosques or graveyards on Hindu temples after demolishing them. whether it is the case of Ayodhya, Taj mahal (yes it is build on the remains on a hindu temple), Qutab minar and many other holy places of hindu worships.. I never understand why Islamist used to destroy other religions holy places before building there own. Do they fear of the superiority of other religions or they have never find a suitable place other than Hindu temples.. although they have destroyed most of the temple parts in Qutub minar still there are many remains of it there. This temple was believed to be build before 15 AD in india & its still standing there inspite of the may tortures., But there own mosque which was build at nearly 1600 -1700 AD has now became a thing of past.. The marvels other than remains of Hindu temple are the Ashoka's Pillar which is believed to be build Before 917 BC was still standing tall there.. It is composed of 98% pure wrought iron and there is no sign of rust on this showing the superiority of Hindu's Vast Knowledge in the ancient age much before the Islam & Christianity was born. When Islam cames They Destroyed the Only University in the whole World called Nalanda and burn all the ancient books and killed all students there & Along with them the Vast Knowledge of Hindus were also get destroyed..

On 22 January, 2024, Paramahamsa Vishwananda was an honoured guest for the inauguration of the new Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, in Ayodhya, India. It was Gurudev’s first visit to the birthplace of Lord Rama and He was excited to take part in this historic event.

In recent satsangs leading up to the event, Guruji has been talking about the significance of this event as a triumph of Santana Dharma and how it has been positively uniting Hindus around the world in the Name of Sri Ram.

Gurudev was interviewed by reporters, showing up on international news reports when asked for His perspective on this historic occasion. ‘For the history of India, it is very important, because it is the birthplace of Lord Rama. I think for India, it is something amazing.’

Legends and elders have told me a lot of stories about this leaf and its importance on Dusherra. Below written is the elaborate legend believed across the Northern and Western part of India.

Being half a Maharashtrian girl and a twisted head to that, this leaf (sona) has been auspicious and a symbol of respect, goodness and peace.

Folk-lore says this:

Legend has it that a young man named Kautsa in Ayodhya once after attaining education from Guru Varatantu asked his Guru to accept a Guru Daskhina – a present offered by students to Guru after completing their studies.

Guru Varatantu at first said he did not want any Dakshina. But young Kautsa insisted that He should take a Dakshina.

Guru Varatantu to get rid of Kautsa asked him for 14 crore (140 million) gold coins. One hundred million for each subject taught.

The student then went to Lord Ram who was ruling Ayodhya and asked for the gold coins needed to pay his Guru Dakshina. Lord Ram promised to help Kautsa and asked him to wait near the Shanu and Apta Tree in his village

In three days time, Lord Ram with the help of Lord Kuber, the God wealth, showered gold coins from the leaves of Shanu and Apati Tree. The leaves of the trees became gold coins.

Kautsa collected the coins and gave 140 million gold coins to Guru Varatantu. The rest of coins were distributed to the needy by Kautsa. This happened on a Dussehra day. To commemorate this event even today people collect leaves of Apta tree and present it as sona or gold.

Wishing you all a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali........

Diwali, or Deepawali, is a major Indian festival. Also known as "Festival of Light," where the lights or lamps signify victory of good over the evil within every human being.

It's the home coming of King Rama of Ayodhya after a 14-year exile in the forest. The people of Ayodhya (the capital of his kingdom) welcomed Rama by lighting rows of lamps, thus its name, Deepawali, or simply shortened as Diwali.
