from my blog: Adda is a common Bengali word. It means a casual chat or conversation between friends or among a group. There is practically no age limit of people joining in an Adda. Take any Bengali area, roam around on streets on a weekend, you will come across these get-togethers for sure. These adda sessions last for hours. Topics vary from Poetry to Politics.
