High above Hjørundfjord at Sunnmore. The fjord runs like a giant canyon through mountainous alps. This is one of the world's most spectacular fjord, according to one of the visitors. In the end of the fjord you will find Øye. Øye has been a central location for the early tourist traffic to Norway since the end of the 1800s and first 1900s. This is a good starting point for mountain hikes. Here you will also find the famous hotel Union. The hotel stands in its former splendor and looks like it did when it opened in 1891. A few years ago the hotel got the award «One of the worlds 12 most exciting hotels».

Cascade Mountain is a mountain located in the Bow River Valley of Banff National Park, adjacent to the town of Banff. The mountain was named in 1858 by James Hector after the waterfall or cascade on the southern flanks of the peak. The mountain has also been called Stoney Chief, which is related to the name of the smaller neighbouring mountain Stoney Squaw, which is still in use. Cascade is the highest mountain adjacent to the townsite.

Shot after a cold night and fog drifts from a nearby lake and instantly freeze
on treas and bushes.
Shot in Hadeland, Norway.
I just can't get enough of this wonderful cathedral La Seu of Palma de Mallorca. It is an awsome architectural monument.
This shot is actually taken a day after the previous shot. I just want to spice up the stream with a little bit of color right now ;-) There is more out of the city the next days, mixed with some street shots as well.
So, my colleague was takening a picture of the cathredral with his iPhone. I thought it would be a great shot of its screen with the blurry but smooth bokeh lights in the background.
Have a great day, everybody!

Ascoltami
Ora so piangere
So che ho bisogno di te
Non ho mai saputo fingere
Ti sento vicino
Il respiro non mente
In tanto dolore
Niente di sbagliato
Niente, niente...

The awsome ceilings of the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm after the 5-year renovation campaign 2014-2018.
Out yesterday with Pauls Pix 53 and ianbartlett for a 12 mile circular walk from Hastings to Fairlight.
We sat on Hughie Pringle's awsome bench to watch the light dance across the water.
Ian found a stone, that gave more info about Hughie. He was just 3 years old when he died ... so very sad.
Probably my favorite picture of all time and one I have been saving ! It was about minus 13 to 14 when I took this shot. I had to stand in the frost and snow for over an hour waiting for a thin beem of sunshine to hit the tree, but to my growing horror as the beem of light got closer and closer it got narrower and narrower. thankfully when it did reach this beautiful tree it was still wide enough to eluminate it . There is almost no processing of this image and I took the shot with a circular polorizer. I was so cold by the time I got back to the car I thought my toes had gone home with out me !!!!!
