So I was told that I'd meet a bunch of Aussies; and these Asian cats were no exception.
It's funny because I was thinking, "Dude, these Asians talk funny and have funny accents. I mean, dude, they're Asian."
But then I thought about it and I'm like, "Dude, what the fuck. I don't really sound Asian, either. What is that anyway?"
It just shows my ignorance -- thinking that all Asians outside of Asia must live in America. Either way, very very cool cats that I wish I would've spent more time with. But you know me, once I get too comfortable I gotta jet -- that's just in my nature.
The green and gold represented here also which I found as a bit of a surprise , good to see the Aussies keeping their head up overseas , cant let the Poms have it all . The Cafe Oz and the Australian Bar with a Croc from Dundee country no doubt , Mick would be proud .

We discovered these chocolatey coconut treats on our trip to New Zealand.
Here is the recipe. I recommend freezing* (instead of refrigerating) the cake overnight, though.
*This was a little tip received from a native NZer and it worked very well!
Gutted my car broke down on the way over to Santa Pod Friday lunch time then unfortunately the Aussie Outlaw put a hole through a piston in the evening on a 6.7 second pass so I never actually saw the car run.
The car and team have been visiting from Australia having had lots of help from a crown funder and the Banshee Racing team. This was the first Outlaw Anglia to run a 6 second pass and they added a few more 6 second runs while visiting Santa Pod including a quickest ever side by side with Colin Millar also running a 6 at Summer Nationals.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible and wish the team a safe trip home.
