I've been wanting to photograph this amazing mural in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina for a while. I finally made that happen on New Years Day. Created by local artist Taylor White.
More than just a mural, "8-BIT TO 5G" is a celebration of creativity and innovation. Video games have grown up right alongside us here in Raleigh, and this evocative mural is a colorful expression of the relationship between our city and this unique art form.
Thanks to the magic of augmented reality (AR) "8-BIT TO 5G" is an evolving experience. During the year, unique AR elements of the mural come alive through your phone’s camera, showcasing different iconic images within the artwork and bringing an extra dimension to this already-rich art installation.
I shot six photos to create this pano. A bit of bending on the edges, but overall, I'm pleased with the result.
... and today I am wearing exactly both in & outside the Metaverse.
Maybe some classics but they are and always will stay timeless iconic designs.

Cheonggyecheon is an 8.4 km (5.2 miles) long, modern and public
recreation space in downtown Seoul.
I took this photo with the new Samsung Galaxy NX Camera and

Sometimes when your not looking you see things. I was hiking around Big Bear lake scouting for a good location on the 4th of July. I walk right past this scene while deep in thought. I looked up from the trail then back down not slowing at all (humdee-dum-dum) then after about 50 feet it registered, that rock looked kinda like a rock-em sock-em robot, I used to love that game when I was a kid. :)
I have been super busy lately, so I apologize for my lack of participation as of late, but I'm getting ready for an 8 day 10 Park "Banzai" Southwest Tour, This is an old acient secret but if you only sleep 4 hours a day you can get some fantastic photos, hehe. :)
I have mapped out most of my locations and the exact times to be at my points of interest(Sunrise/Sunset-MilkyWay) and have tracked the moons positions using Google Earth and TPE. Then a friend told me about a program called Photopills. What an awesome phone app!! it's like Phototools, Stellarium, Google Earth and TPE all mashed together into one "SuperApp" along with some other amazing features that will blow your mind(AugmentedReality).
I would have to say that my favorite app is still Google Earth for scouting and planning. It allows the user to turn on the actual effect of the sun on the landscape as well as allowing you too overlay many other elements such as the current weather, topographical maps, and the position of the Milky Way in the night sky. If you zoom in really close to your shooting location and tilt the view up to get a good view of the sky and then by clicking the sunlight button, you can scroll to any time of the day or night and see what your scene looks like at that time. Awesome Stuff!! :) Check it out.
I'm not sure how accurate all this techno stuff is, but I'm fixing to find out . :)

I took this photo in Anderlecht, Belgium, not so long ago...
I also made the drawing as usual. You can view the sketch
in progress at this link. This is part of "Pencil Vs Camera
Beta Version" (colored drawings on black paper). Drawing
on black is a bit more difficult as it is exactly the opposite
process of the way I've been drawing since many years.

First constructed in 1395, later burned and then abandoned
for three centuries, reconstructed in 1867, then destroyed by
Imperial Japan in the early 20th century, Gyeongbokgung was
the largest palace of the Joseon Dynasty. It has been slowly
restored back to its original form.

Music, music, music... Here is a bird with some electronic power :)
I took the pic and made the sketch as usual. I was sitting outside
of a restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal. Several birds came and moved
from one chair to another hoping to draw my attention to receive
some food (I gave them all my bread). If you wish, you can view
