Shown here is the back façade of Calypso with "Calypso Falls" (2018) by Monique Benthin & Rick Messemaker. It is a rendering of the Seljalandsfoss in Iceland. ".....and was created by the Calypso Falls initiative group, consisting of residents of the Mauritsplaats, the Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Ondernemingsvereniging Schouwburgplein and the United Schouwburgplein Association. The project was realized with contributions from BKOR and Rotterdam Make It Happen, and carried out by Mothership." Source: Calypso-falls.
Calypso is a building complex with 407 up- market apartments, seven parking floors, offices, commercial spaces and the 'Paulus kerk'. It was designed by London architect William Alsop and Van der Laan Bouma Architekten. On the site once was a cinema with the same name.
This is number 602 of Rotterdam architecture.

A view looking west from the Congress Avenue (Bat) Bridge during Blue Hour. The body of water in front of us is Lady Bird Lake, a river-like reservoir on the Colorado River. On the north shore of the lake is downtown Austin.
This view looks toward the Seaholm District, a former industrial section of southwest downtown Austin that has undergone a dramatic transformation into a vibrant, mixed-use urban neighborhood. The diagonally-shaped building with the reddish pyramid dome is Google's new Austin office headquarters. Straight ahead is the First Street Bridge with its below deck level pedestrian walkway.

But the way the light was playing off of the lines and water drops, it has a very metallic look to me. I would love to print this on a sheet of metal or one of those Fine Art papers that uses metal in the paper. For now, I'll print it on a glossy paper and see how that looks.

In 1894, Miss Mary Lowry, then the sole teacher at Hyde Park School, bought a lot at 4001 Avenue C. In 1903, she contracted with William Voss, Sr., to construct a one-story frame house for $1300.
Miss Lowry was one of the few women in the early days of Hyde Park who worked outside the home for a living. She earned the affection of a generation of students for her willingness to toll the school bell as long as it took to prevent a single child from being counted as tardy.
The Lowry House displays the characteristics of the Queen Anne style: the frieze of small spindles, the lacy brackets, and the turned porch columns. It was restored in 1979 and later renovated and expanded. Newer elements include the deep red brick chimneys on fireplaces and the addition. The Mary Lowry House is a City of Austin Historic Landmark.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, the Hyde Park Historic District includes an eclectic mixture of architectural styles, from late 19th-century Queen Anne and Classical Revival homes to 20th-century bungalows and ranch houses. Additionally, many of the houses and buildings in Hyde Park have been designated City of Austin Historic Landmarks and Texas Historic Landmarks.
