As if the rocks were the attendees at a rock concert, this light show included a very linear delight. Darting across the horizon, this sliver of light from the setting sun, formed regardless of the dispassionate audience.
We all peacefully watched as the show rose to a crescendo, then fell in the quiet of the evening. It is moments like this, that one wishes to share the visual captivating charm, of nature. She sure knows how to put on a show.
Taken during our recent trip to London when we visited the Hockney 'Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away)' art exhibition. I was standing on a balcony looking down at the other attendees who had situated themselves on the ground floor. We were surrounded on all four sides by multi-media projections and Hockney's voice boomed out explaining this and that throughout the 50-minute experience

The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration of Japanese arts and culture organized by Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP), with tremendous support from title sponsor Subaru of America, Inc.
Featuring a variety of events throughout the city, this yearly festival brings a taste of Japan to Philadelphia and highlights the beauty of Japanese sakura—the flowering cherry trees that brighten city streets and parks with their distinctive pink and white blossoms.
