Propylaea is the gateway to the Acropolis. Propylaea originally headed elsewhere. It was rebuilt and rotated 40 degrees. Historians have for years asked: Why? Now it's clear. From the Propylaea must be seen Salamis. Instead of victory in the Battle of the Greeks against the Persians in 480 BC.
