De zonparkiet (Aratinga solstitialis) is een papegaaiachtige uit de familie van de papegaaien van Afrika en de Nieuwe Wereld (Psittacidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd als Psittacus solstitialis in 1758 gepubliceerd door Carl Linnaeus.
Het vrouwtje is praktisch gelijk aan het mannetje, soms is het mannetje iets groter, maar hieraan kan men de sekse niet afleiden. Alleen een endoscopisch of DNA-onderzoek kan uitsluitsel geven. De totale lengte van kop tot puntje van de staart is 29 tot 31 centimeter.
Deze soort is afkomstig uit Zuid-Amerika met name Brazilië, Guyana en Venezuela.

My kids are having a holiday this week, so it's quality time. What better place than to spend it at the zoo? I took this shot of this wonderful creature with my Powershot camera. It was taken at the zoo in Amsterdam, Artis.

The poses are bento, created to fit a specific shape and that shape is included in the package. Also, poses are multipurpose, can be used from many angles and specially good as portrait poses.
The stairs are going to be in the demo area and you will be able to buy the whole package (prop with poses) or just single poses from the stand inside the booth.
