"There is no political solution
To our troubled evolution
Have no faith in constitution
There is no bloody revolution
We are spirits in the material world...
Our so called leaders speak
With words they try to jail ya
They subjugate the meek
But it's the rhetoric of failure
We are spirits in the material world...
Where does the answer lie?
Living from day to day
If it's something we can't buy
There must be another way
We are spirits in the material world..."
Spirits in the Material World
The Police
Following a reading of 'Lines that Wriggle' by Candace Whitman (to a small group of 2-4 year olds), we began to explore the way that lines can take form and connect. Using permanent markers, pencils and Chinese ink, we discovered "lines that swirl", "lines that zig zag", "lines that connect", "lines that stick" and "path" lines that turn into "a treasure map". Here Ray told me his lines were "a very difficult map". Later, in pencil he scribbled a small box hidden at the end of one of his lines and whispered quietly to me (so the others wouldn't hear): "It's treasure." Then to finish he decided to paint the entire drawing black with ink "to hide the treasure map."
Spot the treasure!
my son's work of art! now that he has learned to write, he keeps on writing on every piece of paper and stick them on my room's scribbled (few weeks earlier by him) walls.

My baby's creation!
I gave it this title because it looks like there's a purple dolphin at the bottom. Do you see it?

Some children's sidewalk chalk directly in front of the UT "Whirlwind" statue on the pedestrian walkway. I'll leave you to decide which piece of art in this picture I actually prefer...

This artwork had to wait for so long to be completed. I don’t remember when I started but I remember i was very excited to make it. The base is a moment in one of my favourite music videos “Fish On” from Lindemann.
I tried to give to it as much as attention I could but my daily life stole so much energy from me. It’s so hard to create when your mind is so drained. Almost at the end my mind was stopping me to finish it… maybe because I was scared to ruin it or maybe because I actually didn’t want to finish it.
Now it’s finish and I don’t really know how to feel…
