De Triangular Tower in Den Haag, ontworpen door architect J.J.P. Oud en gerealiseerd na zijn dood onder supervisie van zijn zoon in 1969. Het is onderdeel van het World Forum Convention Center en oorspronkelijk gebouwd als bijbehorend hotel maar staat inmiddels al vele jaren leeg. De toren heeft een constructieve kern waaraan de verdiepingen hangen. Alle drie de zijden hebben een doorlopende raamstrook die uitzicht geeft op zowel de stad als de zee.
The Triangular Tower in The Hague designed by architect J.J.P. Oud and after his death completed in 1969 under supervision of his son. It is part of the World Forum Convention Center and originally served as a hotel but is vacant for many years now. The tower has a structural core around which the cantilevering floors are built. All three sides have continuous strips of glass providing views to both the city and the sea.
The Red Arrows were flying an 8 ship display for Saturday and Sunday as red 3's wife had gone into labor, so he had to return home.

Arrows for Quilt NewBees. The one with the angle doesn't match up so I made a third arrow. My first attempt at drawing my own paper piecing pattern. Next time I will start on the computer.

The Red Arrows display team are practicing their display at their base at RAF Scampton near Lincoln, before their afternoon display in Folkstone.
The fletched arrow goes along with the "Native American" theme of the building. REALLY cool old-fashioned elevators that actually need elevator operators!
I don’t know who decide the dock needed to be a arrow or what it pointing at but it’s a nice little dock.

This is Little Bear creek Reservoir. Lately I have been off a lot on Fridays so I have been out with my camera a lot also. I have so many photos in stock now that Ill be busy sorting out what to post and what not to.
Its hard to tell by this photo but I got rained on here. I was looking at the lake and didn’t notice a rain cloud sneaking up behind me.
It was great though, one boat on the lake in the middle of the day, So I had it to myself.
I added more info about the lake below .I know almost every state has a Bear Creek, Or a little bear, Or a big bear. Alabama has 4.….upper, lower, big, little, plus a Cedar creek.
Little Bear Creek Reservoir was impounded in 1976 mostly as a flood control reservoir and holds 1,560 acres of water at full pool. Located approximately 13 miles WSW of Russellville in Franklin County, it is one of four Tennessee Valley Authority reservoirs operated by the Bear Creek Development Authority. The primary uses of this reservoir are flood control and recreation. There is a small amount of residential development along the shoreline of Little Bear Creek Reservoir. Camping and fishing provide the main recreational opportunities
Along with Little Bear Creek, the Bear Creek Development Authority oversees Cedar Creek, Upper Bear and Bear Creek Reservoirs. Together, all four lakes offer nearly 9,000 acres of wonderful fishing, boating, sand beaches, swimming, hunting, camping, miniature golf, picnicking and hiking. A 30-mile canoe float stream is located between Upper Bear and Big Bear Reservoirs. There are five campgrounds open Mid-March through Mid-October, and the lakes are open year round. Little Bear Creek Reservoir is often considered the prettiest of the lakes due to its limestone bluffs, tree lined shores, and clear blue water.
Did you ever run into someone very familiar, say an old friend, in someplace that you didn't expect to find them? "What are you doing HERE?" was my first reaction on seeing the CTA 6000's that Red Arrow acquired for their Norristown line (ex P&W) in 1987. Here 6140 (St Louis 1950) which I had last seen at Kedzie Av on the Ravenswood line leaves 69th st Terminal, Upper Darby PA on 7-24-87 with a Norristown Express. Note the extenders that SEPTA fixed at the doors to enable the "L" cars to use the wider spaced platforms on what is now Route 100. Some Market St El cars can be seen behind the shop building.
