This was a very sad night (Aug 5th) The last day Dream Sim would be open. It was ~~Miles ~~ & mine second date as we get to know one another. It was a sad farewell to a glorious sim with so much to offer. But the great beginning to an amazing relationship.

To me Peyto Lake looks like a figure with her arms reaching out.
Peyto Lake is fed by a glacier that gives it that gorgeous turquoise green colour.
Although it rained every day that we were in the Rockies we were lucky enough to get some sunny breaks. With the sun shining through the clouds we were rewarded with an interesting pattern on the surface of the lake.

A use for the wide angle lens (10mm). Never been able to catch more than half this scene without stitching before. But it is taking some getting used to.

Stasera il cielo era così (era un po' più chiaro, ma ho volutamente accorciato l'esposizione per ottenere un effetto più scuretto). Allora io e il tuo papà siamo andati in terrazza, dove ho scattato qualche foto, e poi mi ha abbracciata e così abbracciava anche te, e tutti e tre insieme abbiamo guardato questo magnifico tramonto. E' stato il nostro primo tramonto tutti insieme. E ce ne saranno molti altri. E non vediamo l'ora che tu possa vedere il tramonto con i tuoi occhi, invece che attraverso i miei. Ti amiamo tanto tanto. Con affetto, mamma e papà.
For you.....
Today we had this wonderful sunset (actually it was a bit lighter, but I shortened the exposure to have a darker effect). So you daddy and I went out to take some photos, and then he kept me in his arms and in this way he was keeping you too, and we stared at this sunset all together. It was our first sunset together, and we are anxious that you can see your sunset with your eyes an not through mine. We love you. Mummy and daddy.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !!
Today is a green day at Color my World Daily and I have a picture for this occasion. As you can see, Mr. Dino is about to climb the ladder and get back on his planet. However, it might be a challenge since his arms are awfully short… He forgot about this fact while making his way down… well it was rather a rapid and controlled fall but he did make in one piece… Now, he will have to think about a plan B to get back on his egg…I will, for sure, try to find a solution for him while running on my treadmill this morning. If I come up with something doable, I will let you know. Meanwhile, have a great green day ! And be sure, that your arms are long enough for whatever you are about to do !

A Morning to Remember
Šilo, morning. The silence still holds the waves in its arms, and light slides down the stones as if caressing memories.
In every reflection of the sea, something of us remains — a trace of gaze, a breath of salt, a whisper saying: “see you again”.
This is not farewell, but a gentle “until next time”, remembered by the scent of the sea and the calm of dawn.
Jutro za sjećanje
Šilo, jutro. Tišina još drži valove u svom naručju, a svjetlo klizi niz kamen kao da miluje uspomene.
U svakom odrazu mora ostane nešto od nas — trag pogleda, dah soli, šapat što govori: “vidimo se opet”.
Ovo nije rastanak, nego mirno “do skorog viđenja” koje se pamti po mirisu mora i blagosti svitanja.

Vineyards above lake Geneva/Leman/Genfersee east of Lausanne, Switzerland. Does anyone know the name of this tree? It's everywhere in urban France, and to a much lesser extent Spain, the branches are cut down every winter, they grow tall thin branches with fat leaves in summer.
I love Bristol. Its only a few minutes away form whee I live but the mentality of the city is was different - more alive and vibrant.

Tierpark Nordhorn
Since 2004, free-flying, wild storks (Ciconia ciconia) have been breeding successfully at the Vechtehof and on the barn at the African savannah. Storks that are unable to fly live in the meadow in the zoo. These are usually victims of an accident that can only survive thanks to human care.
Recently, more wild storks have been coming to the zoo every year, trying to build their large nests in trees or in aviaries. The Nordhorn zoo, together with the NABU Graafschap Bentheim, is trying to lure the animals from the zoo to nature reserves by placing nests in the side arms of the Vecht outside the zoo.
