Loch Lomond (/ˈlɒx ˈloʊmənd/; Scottish Gaelic: Loch Laomainn) is a freshwater Scottish loch which crosses the Highland Boundary Fault. It is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area.[1] The loch contains many islands, including Inchmurrin, the largest fresh-water island in the British Isles.[2] Loch Lomond is a popular leisure destination and is featured in the song "The Bonnie Banks o' Loch Lomond". The Loch is now part of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park which was established in 2002. There are also two (United Kingdom) National Nature Reserves within the National Park: Loch Lomond National Nature Reserve and The Great Trossachs Forest National Nature Reserve. The former is managed by Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), and the latter by a partnership of the Forestry Commission Scotland, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and the Woodland Trust (Scotland). Ellis Island's location in Upper New York Bay
Ellis Island, in Upper New York Bay, was the gateway for over 12 million immigrants to the United States as the nation's busiest immigrant inspection station for over sixty years[8] from 1892 until 1954. The island was greatly expanded with land reclamation between 1892 and 1934. Before that, the much smaller original island was the site of Fort Gibson and later a naval magazine. The island was made part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument in 1965, and has hosted a museum of immigration since 1990.
It was long considered part of New York state, but a 1998 United States Supreme Court decision found that most of the island is in New Jersey.[9] The south side of the island, home to the Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital, is closed to the general public and the object of restoration efforts spearheaded by Save Ellis Island.

The collection of C-123 Providers at the back of this shot were stored in a specially fenced off area of Area 27 to guard against any possible contamination from their use as Agent Orange spray aircraft in the Vietnam War.

Race season is revving up!
It's always a ton of work taking on these race weekends, but it really is a blast. It's a huge privilege just being allowed into the Area 27 facility, but having essentially full access and free rides from the marshals to nearly anywhere on track for viewing is.. *chef kiss*
Area 27 is the name of the new race track just east of Oliver B.C. I happened to be there while groups of cars, and then motorcycles had some fun on the track.
As always, thoughtful feedback, constructive criticisms, and suggestions are always appreciated. As always, I have used tools at my disposal to interpret the original raw file. Use of this photo without permission is not permitted.
Illustrator Kurot is in town and she stopped by the office last week. While she was here, I got her to do an illustration of Mirai-chan - most impressed that she not only managed to draw this in about 8 minutes with a marker pen - but also managed to do it under interrogation!
