So anyway, I'm completely stressed out. I really want a 5 on the test and, well, that's pretty hard. Wish me luck.

I've been reading The Mysterious Benedict Society, which is amazing, and I saw The Great Gatsby which I did enjoy but I had some issues with.

Wow. Another year filled with photos.

Wow.

I survived APUSH. I lived through sophomore year. I wrote some poems. I made some lovely friends. I hugged someone that until then I only knew through satellite. I drove a car and meant a princess. I travelled with a madman through a television and ventured into the pages with countless heroes. I grew. I turned sixteen.

A year of my life falls down to a few sentences, a few stories. Nothing more, nothing less. Even now, being fifteen is not vivid in my head anymore. You live in the moment you are in. Moments become minutes and minutes become days and days become weeks until finally, your past becomes nothing but a story, a story you will forget the most of.

I find I remember other people's stories more than I remember my own.

But I am thankful to have 52 photos of 52 weeks of my life to recall my story with. I wouldn't be the person I am today without those days and those photos.

Thank you all for supporting me so much throughout the last year. Thank you to my lovely models and fellow support group members and best friends Rachel, Abbie, Madie, Sarah, Isabella, and Kay Kay. Thank you to Korinne and Sarah for being the greatest Flickr friends and now real life friends I could have. And thank you to the storytellers of the world who give me a new road to share with them all the time.

Anyway, this was my time shooting in RAW as Sarah advised me to do, and I seriously will never go back.

Kay Kay and I went out to breakfast today and then we went shopping and exploring. We had a lot of fun goofing off, and now I'm home, not doing my homework and watching the new amazing Great Gatsby trailer on repeat.

Well, this concept doesn't apply to me because the closest I've ever gotten to a boyfriend is having my best friend check out a guy for me while visiting Alaska without me.

But, oh well. Made me think of the song.

Today was great. I worked in the morning and then I took two trains to go see my best friend Sarah. We ate at a fabulous breakfast place and then we started to walk around before we realized today was the day Nevermore by James Patterson came out (last book in the series Maximum Ride), so we walked a mile to buy the book. Then we ran into my mom's good friend and had her buy the first book of The Mortal Instruments for her daughter, who might come to my high school next year. Then I said goodbye to Sarah (I already miss her) and took the train home and read the entire book. I was really, really, really angry at the end (if any of you read it, I would love your opinions, I am not happy at all with it.) But anyway, then Iz came over and we took a walk to the beach and took photos. So much fun.

Tomorrow I have to do APUSH homework, though. Ugh.

When I shot this, we were studying Vietnam in APUSH and I couldn't help to think of how young some of the people who served were. And how "anti-war" the whole mentality was (not to mention the amount of smoking- both tobacco and marijuana). I also kept getting memories of Forest Gump and Across the Universe stuck in my head. This was the result of all of that.

WEEK 47.2 – Office Depot, Southaven, MS

Here's the best look I could manage of one of the checkout lights at this Office Depot. I'm not sure if the light is original, but I'm guessing the wall décor is!

Beyond the light you can just see the sign for the print services center. During the OfficeMax liquidation, we got a coupon for something or other to be used at the print services center here; with the APUSH test coming up in May, I figured I'd go ahead and print some stuff in December before the coupon expired. Well, the coupon worked, but we were charged twice somehow, and ended up having to go back after the fact to sort that mess out! Needless to say why I prefer(red) OfficeMax...

These places are public so these photos are too, but just as I tell where they came from, I'd appreciate if you'd say who :)

Frankly, I care more about APUSH (Friday) and APENG (next Wednesday). Thus, I won't be as active here for awhile. Wish me luck!

school has been crazy lately. ap exams are coming up and i've been studying like no other. apush next friday, ap physics next next monday, and ap lang next next wednesday. with everything going on right now, i hardly feel like i have the time to breathe.

on a lighter note, this picture was chosen by my art teacher and sent to the national creative self expression show to represent my school.

i also went to see the hunger games with a couple friends a week or two back, and i really loved it. my hunger games tribute photo has already been planned out in my head and i promise i'll get around to taking and editing it as soon as i find the time to.
