I actually managed to sneak away for a few minutes today to get a few quick pics while on vacation, felt good to be photographing toys again versus people which I have been photographing like a mad woman the past few days (I photographed my sister in law's graduation ceremony for her at University of Michigan).
Thanks for all your heartfelt words guys, I'm not really quitting photography but I am taking a break at least for now until I can find some balance in my personal life (or a good lighting system).

My newest little doll, Pipos Pi Baha (that I've named Baroque, or Berry for short), with faceup by momizii.
This little girl/guy belongs to my mom and is a Doll Chateau Larry in the old white skin. My mom fell in love with the last DC Larry I painted for a friend so I scoured the secondhand market to find her one of her own. This is her first, and probably only, BJD. She loves how it turned out!
I was invited to this group a long time ago and finally made my way here. These are older pictures of my precious girls, Kira on the left and Isa on the right. I've a got a sleepy eyed Frise on the way too. I just love this mold! I've got a duckie for her too. I've shared these photos on DoA but since they're new here, I wanted to put them here too. Nice to meet you all!!

Exclusive Limited Edition ~PreOrder
Finally got around to doing a new face up yesterday. This is a Dearmine Dune in white skin and he belongs to a very good friend of mine. She wanted me to paint him like a lynx for her.
I tried a different method of doing fur patterning, and I'm very happy with the outcome, as is the owner! The whole face up is only done with pastels, I didn't use any paint or pencils on it (except for the nose outline).

The Duckies! Better than a stand if you ask me. I snagged them from a doll set that sold at Walmart several years ago. I feel like it was great find as the girls look so cute on them!
